The Pinewood, Nainital

The booking was done online for 4 nights (Nov 29 to Dec 04, 2024) for 3 persons 2 months in advance at per night charge of Rs7600 approx. inclusive of breakfast. There were one Bedroom and one Living cum pantry. Breakfast and Bedroom were good with courteous service but the place is not worth of its price for following reasons: 1. The premises was on a narrow lane with difficult entry for big cars and having no view of nainital lake. 2. All facilities, like TV, Mirror, Dinning space, extra bed space were in Living room but despite request a room heater was not given for this space despite around 2 or 3 degree temperature. 3. No restaurant or food availability is there other than breakfast and we were dependent on outside supplies. 4. Periodical water scarcity is there. In fact one day we had to stay without water from 5 am to 8.30 am. No price discount was offered for such anomaly.

Hotel staff was what made the stay comfortable. The rooms are not upto the mark with a tiny bathroom with no room to strech your arms. Mr. Deep who was the manager made us feel like we were at home and was couteous and professional. Room and the amenities were good, but could have been better in terms of cleanliness and amenities like wi-fi and bathroom size.

This 1BHK apartment is good. Spacious enough for 2 people. No food service except for breakfast (which is average) but u can order online. Mall road is 1.5kms away. Location is fine and not that bad.

We stayed in one bedroom apartment. Its not s 4 star nor a hotel. Its on very steep hill not at all walkable distance from mall road. Cleanliness and hygiene is the biggest issue. They don't change bedsheet and pillow cover. Towels are years old. Bed mentioned king size buts its qunee size. Bathroom is very very small. No kitchen in house. No shops nearby. Construction going on just infront of the hotel. Tv is in drawing room not in the bedroom. We had many major issues regarding cleaning and hygiene and it took our whole day to get those things sorted. We made complaint to MMT and they try to reach property manager many time but he did not pick the call. The place doesn't feel safe as well. There is no security guard and only 4 employees are there including one caretaker who is not taking care of anything. Rest 3 are local people and don't understand much. Go for a proper hotel instead of this.

More than 2k.m. away from mall road.No restaurant in it,so you have order your food with any delivery app,which one might be problematic.No front view of the room are available.This place won't have any proper gate to get entire the property.

Amazing stay! Mr. Deep is running a Fabulous Properly having spacious rooms and nice amenities. The service is just exemplary and location is easy to be found.

Make sure to never book ground floor with them. Poor service, poor management and in washroom you get natural scrub in water (Dirty). Pathetic towels, poor quality washroom...

I paid 9500 for standard room for two nights. Room was very small and suffocating. There was one window and that too without proper fencing or lock. Found centipede in bathroom which is very risky when staying with 1 year old baby. Water logging and flush issues as well. Used bucket to flush off. Breakfast was okayish. No lift. Though, staff was very polite and helpful. Property is at a good location The room we stayed in should not cost more than 1000 rupees for two days.
