One word: Poor! The old-fashioned style and low quality of everything is really not worth the price of 500 a night. Since it was not a refundable purchase, I had to check in even I don’t feel great with their sloppy customer service. After checked in, I left my luggage in our booked room around noon and when I came back at night, I found that one of the disposable slippers was missing. I was really speechless. The name is “International Hotel”, which has nothing to do with international. When I asked the front desk with some basic inquiries, the front desk staff suddenly switched from Chinese Mandarin to a local dialect Shanghainese which I don’t understand at all. It’s ridiculous that the standard of international hotels is that they can speak Shanghainese instead of English. Because of the poor communication quality from the front desk, I almost missed my international flight. Eventually, I insisted on speaking to their manager and they were able to communicate better. Then with the help of the driver’s excellent driving skills, we were able to catch our flights. We won't choose this place again after all the disappoin**ent and wasted time in communication. The fruits in the picture is the “fruit plate” to welcome us for staying in this hotel. One apple and one orange for a 3 guest room. We are disappointed and didn’t touch the fruits. 一个字：差！老式风格，真的不值500一晚的价格，名字是国际酒店，和国际是一点都不沾边，问送机时间，前台服务人员和我们说上海话，真可笑国际酒店的标准是要求会说上海话吗？就要不你和我说英语也算！中午放了行李出去了，晚上回来以后发现一次性拖鞋少了一只，真无语。差点儿没赶上飞机，最后经过携程客服的介入才解决了问题。总之不会再来了。图片的水果就是这个酒店入住的欢迎水果，没动，还给你们自己吃吧。

We missed our flights from Shanghai to vietnam and needed a play to stay near the airport in order to catch the flight the following day. We had seen this hotel on Expedia, booking.com etc and the hotel looked ok from the photos.||||Just some notes about the hotel:||||Pros:||The hotel is clean and we were upgraded to the VIP suite which was very large.||||Staff are extremely pleasant and helpful and speak very good English.||||Japanese restaurant at the top of the hotel is fantastic! Fairly cheap and the food is very good.||||Cons:||It is NOT in near the centre of Shanghai and the attractions- we knew this when we booked the hotel. It is also 20mins drive from the airport however the hotel provide a free shuttle bus which for us was a private driver however some other travellers have reported a minibus.||||The hotel is very dated, our suite was pristine (but dated) we just think no-one had stayed in it much.||||Wew didn't have the breakfast so we can't comment. We paid ~£50 and were upgraded to the suite which was fine for us as we just needed a place to stay before flying out the next day. Some others travellers report a lot of Chinese guests, yes this seemed to be true when we stayed but this didn't bother us as we were in china! There are nicer hotels nearer to the airport such as the ramada but you will pay more for them. For us this hotel was clean with pleasant staff at a reasonable rate.

My hotel reservation at Ramada PuDong Airport Hotel was cancelled due to my late check-in and I had to find a new hotel for the night. Reseption at Ramada recommended Shahai International Hotel, some 20 minutes drive from Ramada. After 45 minutes the taxi driver found it; I have no idea where it was, but I checked in vary late. Of cause all eating facilities at the hotel was closed, so I had to go out locally and found a "hole in the wall" restaurant 200meter from the hotel. The room I got was so warm (outside temperature was 34 degrees) and inside it was more than 30. Setting the air-condition at max cooling, still it took 2 hours until I fell a sleep. Very noisy breakfast with almost only chinese food was OK, but not more than so. Very old, no air-condition, shuttle but to the airport was a disappointment in this summer temperature. I am not sure I come back; but for a bed for the night I managed.

Just stayed stayed for thre nights on business. The room was nice but the windows did not close correctly as you could hear the wind entering. The internet was horible as it wouyld constantly lose connection. Many sites could not be connected but that may be a Beijing issue I doid have an average foot massage but they kept trying for the oil massage.. wink...wink. The breakfast was average Chinese style. The front staff was nioce but they did not accept AMEX and had issue with my visa. I would never stay at this hotel again.

刚刚出差在这里住了三个晚上。房间很好，但是窗户没有正确关闭，因为你可以听到风吹进来的声音。互联网很糟糕，因为它会不断失去连接。很多网站都无法连接，但这可能是北京的问题。我做过普通的足部按摩，但他们一直在尝试精油按摩……眨眼……眨眼。早餐是中式的一般。前台工作人员很友善，但他们不接受美国运通卡，并且对我的签证有疑问。我再也不会住在这家酒店了。

酒店离机场很近！并有免费接送机的班车，酒店服务人员很热情好客！丰盛可口的早餐！尤其是房间的床够大！宽敞舒适！房间无噪音，安逸到天明！感觉此次出行选择一次明智的选择！下次还会再来！五分好评！

Stayed there Dec 25 and Jan 25, worst hotel ever, mismanaged, manager sucks, he needs to read customer service for dummies book or something and please if you want to call yourself an "international hotel" put someone there who can communicate in English. Breakfast food was cold, tasteless. Their shuttle bus will make you wait at airport for couple hours before they show up. I had to take my own taxi even though I already paid for their shuttle service. If management really want to run it professionally get rid of your current manager. Didn't have any choice otherwise I wouldn't have even give this hotel 0 star.

The hotel is very nice, but the money exchanger was Out Of Order. The manager will not talk to anyone, there are employees to do that for him. The rooms are very clean and nice, but describing the bed, it was like trying sleep on a pool table. I can't sleep on a solid surface. I turned all night until it was time to get up. We checked out right away.

酒店非常好，但是货币兑换器坏了。经理不会与任何人交谈，有员工为他做这件事。房间非常干净漂亮，但是描述床，就像尝试睡在台球桌上一样。我无法在坚硬的表面上睡觉。我翻了整整一夜，直到起床的时间。我们立即退房。
