Fantastic fishing adventure. Accomodations are spacious. Don't feel at all like you are crowded. Fishing was fun. All hooks were baited, fish were checked for "legality". Fish were filleted, frozen, and vacuumed packed, for the flight home. Laundry facilities in suite, so you can show up with a toothbrush and the clothes on your back, if you were so inclined. Breakfast in suite and lunch on the water included. On your own for Dinner. Go to town (transportation provided) or you can grab groceries locally and cook or grill in suite. If you want to bring your own beer it can be accommodated (within reason). All fish boxed and brought to airport for you to get checked in. Cruise ships dock next door, you can use the provided vehicles, to see Sitka, grab souvenirs. If you get back before cruise ships depart, you can hit up the tourist shops at the port. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a fishing adventure.

Having fished in several locations in Alaska I keep coming back to Islandview every year. They have the experience dialed in. The lodge is on the water with the best views in town. The boats, captain and crew are the best in the business. This year we had a new captain, and we were thrilled with his fishing prowess and the ability to find and keep us on the fish. He became a captain in 2022 but learned from the best the lodge owner and his dad Kevin. Don't let Tylers (AKA T-Mac) youthful appearance and facial hair of a 12-year-old fool you. That guy can fish! The student has become the master!|If you can request T-Mac you won't regret it.

Such a great adventure. Prior to arriving the communication was outstanding. Our boat crew (John and Garrett) made each day of fishing easy. The fishing was great. Every morning ( early) a great breakfast was waiting in our 3 bedroom apartment ; and upon returning from a day of fishing a welcome back snack was provided. What can I say: OUSTANDING.

This is my fourth time staying and fishing at IslandView. I can not say enough good things about them. The land crew is amazing! the resort and rooms are incredible, the food is 5-star, the location is pristine, The fishing unbelievable. Every employee is friendly and extremely helpful. It truly recharges my battery every spring. I can not wait to go back again next May.

brought 5 new fishing buddies here. I have been coming for over 10 years, my 4th trip. We had a great Captain John B. and assistant Justin. They both worked so hard to maximize our fish count and make it a comfortable trip! Mara was very efficient in getting us there and sending us home. Kevin has built an amazing destination/empire here. Keep it up and thanks. We will be back!!

Kevin and his crew go the extra mile at all times to ensure you catch fish and have a great trip. Facilities and equipment are superb. Employees are fun, friendly and enjoy what they do! Caught tons of fish but better still, enjoyed the Island View team; outstanding folks! ||Hint - call Mara to arrange your trip. She is fantastic! She will also help you find the best “anything” around Sitka you might also want to see or do. Two of us wanted to fly-fish two more days on inshore streams. Mara also hooked us up with the best and arranged additional lodging. She is awesome!

This was my first time visit with a group that has been coming for 20 years. We spent 4 days on the water. Kevin and his team run an amazing operation. I have significant fishing experience and they have everything right. This includes the lodging, fishing, packaging of the fish, delivery to airport, breakfast, packed lunch.||||Our group limited out on the Coho everyday and that is what we were looking for. All mooching with light rods and reels and that is much more fun than trolling around all day like 1/2 the charters do.||||Our books worked with the 5 other boats they have to keep everyone on the fish. Crew was helpful the whole time and keep everyone safe.

We were seeking out a top notch fishing charter company for 6 ppl during a very busy time in Alaska. Mara, Reed and Jack were just the best. Mara was so friendly and great to deal with. She researched the best way to meet our group and she made it seamless. The day of fishing was the highlight of our entire trip to Alaska and Reed and Jack did an awesome job. We were met by them by our cruise ship and they outfitted us with all of the fishing gear, bait, etc. Reed and Jack were so helpful and we were all successful in catching fish. They went from one place to another to be sure we could find fish and wow - we caught a wonderful variety of rockfish, halibut and salmon. They then cleaned all of the fish and had it sent to our home on Alaska Air, timing it so it arrived home a day after we did. The fish was the absolutely best we have ever had. We would highly recommend them to anyone planning a trip to Alaska. Absolutely wonderful memories.
