NillThe hotel is beautiful and the rooms are nicely decorated, but the service was truly disappointing. The front desk staff were constantly missing. we had to wait around. We were offered early check-in, but when we arrived, the room wasn’t ready. They said they would call us when it was, but no one ever did. We had to go back and ask ourselves to find out if it was ready. There’s also no direct number to reach reception. I had to hang up after being sent to voicemail multiple times. For the high price, the service was far below expectations. Nice rooms aren't enough to make up for such poor service.

NillDifficult reservation process. We called for help and were told everything had to be on the app. When that didn’t work.., long wait on the phone, finally gave up. Rooms super tight, unmanageable for handicapped or seniors. No glasses or ice machine, fronts noisy highway and expensive parking. Only for those on the super budget and just want the barebones amenities. Decorate is upscale but walls already marked. Guess that they don’t know about the miracle sponge. Never again!!

NillAn incredible beach bungalow. The rooms are incredibly well styled and relaxing. I love the shower and the bathroom overall. I also enjoy the architecture. The location is right next to various incredible beaches in Laguna (Victoria, Woods Cove) and other desirable locations. Definitely would recommend for someone looking to take a quick trip to Laguna.

NillVery Very Very VERY good location! Free parking ( remember to scan QR and write your car details when coming ). Well rooms… its quite big and eveything looked first lovely and good. After one night there was plenty of bad thing going. Floor is very dirty, sofa was dirty, bad floor, faucet detached from the wall, I couldn't lift a single curtain from the window at all AND door back up lock was broken and with one kick to door anyone could come inside!!! So much good but so much little bad ones and that broken back up lock was too much. Here is someone 10am - 7pm who helps if you have questions. There is a lot of traffic nearby. You van hear every car ( even evs haha ). There is pool also. It was okay to use.

NillThis place is poorly managed because it is not managed at all. They operate through online check in and an app that is almost useless. This is where you get your virtual key card (which didn’t work) and can request services (which didn’t work OR you were directed to use the chat feature to talk with an agent for help — which makes me wonder what the point of the app is). And customer service was slow. Several features that were supposedly supposed to be available in the app were not available (like requesting more towels or requesting a different check out time). The parking reservation and car registration process was confusing (also all online/over chat). The place is overpriced considering how terrible the service is, how stressful so many basic processes are, and there are basic amenities that you don’t have like a microwave. The room is small, but it is designed nice. That was the only good part of the stay. More transparency and availability at this location would have been nice. Maybe the “luxury” of not having to talk to a living human being in person is not a luxury after all.

NillSingle night staycation at Sonder Woods Cove and overall a disappointing experience. We booked and contacted the property ahead of time informing them that we would be traveling with our baby. We were guaranteed a crib with sheets by the staff. When we arrived, the crib was set up in the room but there was no mattress. We were informed that the mattress would not be available but we could use a folded comforter instead. Given this is incredibly unsafe, we had to spend the next few hours driving to stores to buy a full crib/pack & play for the night. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, especially the bathrooms. Beautiful design and materials for the price. The floors in the room, however, were incredibly dirty. All of our feet turned black after five minutes of walking around and we had to clean them by hand so our baby could crawl around. Several other guests were smoking on the patio outside the room and our wall air unit blew the smell in, which was impossible to get out for the rest of the stay. The staff did respond quickly and told the group to leave. Location is great and the staff is friendly and responsive. But overall a bad experience, and we certainly will look elsewhere when booking for ourselves and others in the future.

NillPlease se attached photos. The location and rooms were beautiful but the service was beyond horrible. Me and my bestfriend stayed here for four days as we are on vacation from Michigan. The receptionist was always absent. Our code stopped working at night for the pool when the hours on the door say 8-9pm but the inside of the pool says 8-10pm. We were unable to use the amenities not once but twice because of the lack of service and codes not functioning. Our second encounter with the codes is when we were storing our luggage as we are flying out at 5pm tonight. The hours for the front desk staff is supposed to be 10am-6:30pm we waited for staff for over and hour and a half to show up and nobody was here. Our code stopped working at 11am and we had to then sit on the HORRIBLE service line with someone who refused to get in I’m touch with a higher management or supervisor until I was sick of sitting on hold for the 5th time. We also tired to speak with the online staff and there was no response for over and hour and a half as well. Not only did this cut into the time we had on our last day here but we had to lug all of our luggage down to the other Sonder to ask if we could store our luggage there. If you’re reading this I suggest you spend your money elsewhere. I never leave reviews but this was extremely unacceptable as we spent extreme amounts of money. Sonder if you are reading this since your staff was absent more of the time and I was unable to speak to someone.. this is my official request for a partial refund as we couldn’t even use the amenities we were promised.

NillI had an incredibly disappointing and unsettling experience at this “hotel”. While it appears to be a remodeled motel with an aesthetic look, the reality was far from welcoming. The property had a sinister vibe, with all rooms exposed to the main street and curtains that barely provided any privacy. Parking was another nightmare, as the spots were so tight that fitting our Jeep was a struggle. The most alarming issue was the blatant disregard for the hotel’s “no pets” policy, which was a key reason we chose this property (as someone in our group is allergic to dogs). Upon our arrival, we encountered two aggressive, unleashed dogs running around the parking lot. These dogs even attacked another dog walking with his owner on the Main Street, creating chaos for over 10 minutes. When the owner of these dogs finally took them inside, we politely asked her to leash them for everyone’s safety, but she became hostile, recorded us, and flicked us off. We reported this to the hotel, expecting resolution, but instead, the manager dismissed our concerns, claiming these were service dogs. However, these dogs were clearly not under control, which contradicts the behavior of any legitimate service animal. To make matters worse, the dog owner continued harassing us by walking past our room and making obscene gestures through our window. At this point, we felt unsafe, uncomfortable, and completely unsupported by hotel management. We had no choice but to leave and find alternative accommodations at 10 PM. This property is not only poorly managed but also attracts trashy, disruptive guests who seem more interested in partying and smoking than respecting others. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. 0/5 stars.
