Beautiful view, really nice staff. (I’ve only sat at the bar) Enjoyed twice baked potato, espresso martini, spicy Paloma? Cesar salad with steak 🤤 At different times but every time I’ve been here I’ve had a nice chill time. You gotta try the twice baked potato, especially if you love mashed potatoes. Ooooo and they’ll give you a blanket if you’re too cold.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our recent Christmas party at Hotel Laguna was nothing short of magical! From start to finish, the exceptional service made the evening seamless and enjoyable for everyone. The staff was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. The menu was outstanding, featuring a variety of delicious dishes that had our guests raving all night. The highlight, of course, was celebrating on the beautiful outdoor patio – the perfect setting for a festive and elegant gathering. A special shoutout to Chad, the hotel manager, whose professionalism and warmth made the planning process effortless. He truly has a gift for creating memorable experiences. If you’re considering a venue for any event, look no further than Hotel Laguna. Their team will exceed your expectations in every way. Five stars across the board!

Larsen at Hotel Laguna is a hidden gem in the heart of Laguna Beach, offering everything you could desire. Enjoy cocktails and appetizers on their terrace or savor a fine dinner at their restaurant, all while indulging in breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and its stunning sunsets. Gabby provided exceptional recommendations that elevated our evening, making it truly unforgettable with her personalized service and expert guidance.she is definitely the best of the staff at Larsen. And the location? Just steps away from the vibrant energy of Laguna Beach, this is the ultimate destination!

We just got married in Laguna Beach April 2024. We had our wedding celebrations at Hotel Laguna. We started looking for venues a year ago and had toured 3 other venues. The moment we stepped into Hotel Laguna we just knew this was where we wanted to get married! It was the only venue in Laguna Beach that would host a ceremony on the beach and host our reception outside in a beautiful rose garden. This hotel has so much character, beautiful views, the most amazing staff and delicious foods and drinks. I could go on and on about everything we loved about this venue but what really did it for us was the day of. We had the best service I’ve ever had! We hosted our rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception at Hotel Laguna and it surpassed all of our dreams. It was the most perfect and special day for us. If we could redo our wedding weekend all over again, we would do it here again. My wedding day was so stress free, beautiful, and full of so much love and care. We are so so thankful for all those who serviced our wedding and made it so spectacular. All our guest were also so impressed with this hotel and the service. I would absolutely recommend. The only thing that would have made it all easier would have been if they had their rooms available but there are so many great hotels nearby that it still worked out. Amazing place, food, drinks and views!!!

The restaurant had a fabulous view of the ocean! We sat by the window and watched the dolphins swim and play in the breakers and watched the evening life on the beach. The restaurant was very nice and the service was very good. The hotel is old and has a rustic quality to it; very nice. And the meal was good.

Spent the evening in Laguna Beach and wanted to go to a nice dinner with my friends. We decided to go to Hotel Laguna and it did not disappoint. Our server was very kind and attentive. She knew the menu well and informed us of the specials. For appetizers we ordered the bread and Ahi nachos. The nachos were amazing and had a great flavor combination. For my main course I ordered the Tomahawk steak, which was the special that night. It was served with Brussel Sprouts, carrots, and mashed potatoes. The steak was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. I finished the whole thing because I couldn’t stop eating. For dessert I ordered the 3 layer chocolate cake and it was phenomenal. Overall Hotel Laguna was amazing. The atmosphere was beautiful filled with amazing energy. Our view of the sunset over the ocean while we were dining is one I’ll never forget. I met the manager Ruth and she was awesome. She made our experience even better with her hospitality. I will definitely be visiting and dining her again!

This is an interesting place. I believe it has been around for 100 years or more but there are no reviews on TA? I find that interesting. Anyway, it is not very well marked, if at all, and on a very busy street. If you are not a local there is a very good chance you will miss it. It is no longer an actual hotel. I am not sure if this is permanent or temporary. There is definitely something going on for a few locals (shop owners/employees) we chatted to later in the day, voiced plenty of opinions on the hotel. Anyway, we walked through the lobby and sat in the restaurant. We did not have a reservation so we did not get onto the patio. It is an absolutely beautiful property. It was a sunny day and packed. There is a Japanese restaurant there and the food was excellent. The bar was hopping and they were churning out some excellent looking cocktails. It was not cheap. They do have valet parking that is expense and you can really only get in if you are heading south. If traveling north bound it is all but impossible to make a left hand turn into the lot. The lot is not big. I would return without hesitation but would try to get reservations on the patio.

We were here for brunch. Of course location is amazing! However, for some reason, our waiter was the slowest possible. I don't think it was the busiest time as there were many many empty tables. But our waiter not only got our order wrong, took forever to come with the requested menu....and took forever to come with our drinks.... That was a bummer
