A emphasize enough, how peaceful and serene property makes you feel from the second you step in to the beautiful wood door opening into a lobby, a friendly, sincere staff that greet you like your family. I live across the street and had an emergency termite fumigation frantically looking for a place to stay and not only did they give me their best they offered me a discount for being a local resident and I just felt like I was home. you’re just a three minute walk to the beach. The views from the room are spectacular. The bar service is outstanding. The drinks are outstanding. The pool is so relaxing and so amazing to take an afternoon swim and an evening swim. I cannot recommend this place truly in the heart of Laguna. Even though I live right across the street, I plan on doing a stay there again. There are no TVs in the room. They have record players in the Amazing record selection and you just feel like you’re transported to a different place in time when things just slow down. Thank you so much for everything during my stay all of you were so accommodating and so wonderful, I will be back!!

This hotel, although no doubt is designed impeccably, is a bit like a pig in lipstick. We were incredibly excited to spend the night here for our anniversary but ended a little disappointed. We pulled up to the front door and were a little surprised to find that the building is just an updated old school road motel. Upon check in, we had a bunch of bags and the gentleman didn’t help with our luggage. This felt a bit odd for a 4-star rated spot. He gave us a tour and brought us to our cute room. We loved it! However, a few things to note, that initial motel feeling was very accurate. Depending on the direction your room is facing, you’re quite literally on the busy PCH road. You will be hearing traffic all night long. It was strange to me that the hotel hadn’t taken extra steps to try to lessen the noise or even acknowledge it by offering ear plugs. We used the fan to try to mask the loud street noise but it only had one speed setting and it got cold. They also did nothing to acknowledge our anniversary celebration either. Typically at a 4star hotel you can find a cute note or chocolates or they even wish you a happy celebration upon check in but there was nothing. There was hardly anyone at the front desk throughout our stay to greet you or wish you a good day, it felt unwelcoming. In the morning, they offered a hot coffee thermos on the door and no breakfast included. The deck and pool area seemed nice but all the non-PCH rooms face this courtyard so they must have a different struggle with the noise. All in all, I’m happy we stayed one night but that’s just about all I’d offer the place. With no breakfast, lackluster service, and loud noise it doesn’t seem worth the expensive value.

The employees were very nice the night we stayed. Had originally booked for more nights but the room just wasn’t our vibe. Very small, loud a/c, and no TV. Spent a couple thousand and didn’t even get a balcony. Close to the beach but the walk back, uphill is no joke!

I had a fantastic experience staying at this hotel. The employees were very kind and went above and beyond to make it a special experience. The rooms are as good as the photos and I would absolutely good back.

I own a boutique vacation rental in Maui and wanted to check this place out! I was blown away with all the details and special touches they gave us. super cute close enough to beach reasonably priced, and the service is a little clumsy but well intentioned, foods good enough it’s costal california in a small town w 50 hotels, this is probably the best value for money the pools incredibly well heated, the shower was broken on the side of turning the heat up because it wasn’t, but it’s cute well done looks good for your instagram, revised i might have broke the shower but it got hotter so 4 stars

my bff and i stayed here for a few nights. it was absolutely incredible! we were totally able to unplug and relax BIG TIME! arrival: greeted by the most awesome person dylan. abby the bar tender (had the most chill vibe about her love her) gave us our welcome drinks which was delicious. dylan took our bags to our room so we didn’t have to bring them up the stairs. he asked us what type of milk we would like with our coffee in the morning. it was so cute the coffee was at our door each morning in a thermos. room: we stayed in la lune - great vibes, bed and pillows super comfy, bathroom was huge did not expect that, walk in shower with two different shower heads. the body wash shampoo and conditioner smelled amazing, separate door for toilet which i loveee! each room has a balcony. i loved our room but with this being our first time in cali we would have loved one with a better view (both our balcony’s looked at the street). each room has a record player (no tv which we didn’t want- unplug and disconnect from the world) there were a ton of records downstairs that you could choose from, swap out, take for entire trip whatever you please. water was already in the room for us and we could ask dylan to fill at any time. beach/pool: pool was heated, chairs SUPER comfy loved the little day beds those were our favorite. umbrellas tables & towels. abby came around every 15 mins or so to ask us if we wanted food or drinks. water & sunscreen available by pool. beach - there’s a nice beach about 2 min walk (if you’re slow like me) hotel provides towels, chairs and umbrella. extras: breakfast included (tip paid for by you of course) the breakfast was amazing!!! sooo yummy!!!! they have E bikes or regular bikes you can use at any time. looove that it’s adults only!!! i would give it 5 stars for location but it’s not in the heart of where all the shops/restaurants but other than that it’s super close to beach and was great! special shout out to dylan !! he was so personable, really enjoyed chatting with him after coming back from the bars at night. he really made our stay that much nicer by just being him!! we love you dylan!!! we cannot wait to come back here and recommend it to anyone that comes to laguna!!!

The staff, especially the bartender, was so friendly immediately. The view from the deck where you eat breakfast and can get drinks is beautiful. And breakfast was yummy. Our room was Jardin on the ground floor and very nice. Great shower and comfortable bed. An easy walk into Laguna along the path along the sea. The idea was great for a luxury hotel but we were let down by some things. We stayed in motels most of our trip which score the same. There was no kettle in the room. They delivered coffee to the room in the morning but we weren't asked ahead of time of milk preferences so needed to wake up and ask the bar for lactose free milk. Heater was confusing/not working correctly and was stressful going to sleep that night. Pool not heated. We chose this hotel due to its heated pool. When we arrived they told us the heater was not working and didn't offer any compensation. We were really disappointed as we would have chosen somewhere else and this was our last night in California. The place is amazing though, but for a luxury property they should have told us ahead of time or been prepared to offer us something for the inconvenience.
