Comfort Inn San Diego Airport At the Harbor

The room heater is an AC that wasn't on, the room was freezing, the "filter" of the AC needed to be changed, there was hair in the bathroom walls and floor and a spider in the sink. The breakfast to is just cereal and instant oats pack. The eggs were over, everything else was like instant food stuff and non quality juice. The cleanliness should definitely be improved a lot. Not worth it if a hotel is charging 125$/night! Might as well go to best Western or some chain hotel. I checked out in one night and went to Hilton instead!

Firstly, this was a good two-day stay in a clean room w friendly staff. The location is across the street from a Winchell's and coffee shop, down the street from a grocery store, Denny's and McDonald's which all allow you to save money on food. And the motel is next to the harbor for beautiful views when you leave your room and walk around. Front desk staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. She was accommodating and let me know when exactly to check in because I showed up to the room early. She also works really hard, because she was also cleaning and sweeping the beautiful floor tiles of the hallways as well. The room is comparable to staying in a well lived bedroom w wood classic furniture. My room had a comfy King-sized bed which was clean; and I checked for NO bugs. The bathroom was clean w a big shower, but overall tight space. The room smelled nice like men's cologne when I walked in. There was a fridge and micro in the room. I will be honest and admit the tv had no working signal but I didn't use it anyway. The heater and AC worked well. Overall I enjoyed my quick stay, and was happy w my room. 4 stars.

Stayed 3 nights in a King room. The young lady serving breakfast is very nice and keeps food filled. Front desk was kind BUT the room (King) was mediocre. Ceiling repairs clearly from water damage, bad paint job throughout, wall AC/Heat broken and the bed and bathroom door squeaky. Ice machine only in one location and if you’re not on the pool side then it a walk to get ice. Room service ladies are very attentive. One of our towels had a weird stain, this place just seems old and needs a remodel. It’s a bit rundown. Super noisy from traffic if you’re on the corner of Harbor side. On a positive note:Take a walk to the wharf it’s beautiful.

Very basic stay in a very good location. Very busy traffic wise thougout the day. But quite at night. On a perfect thoroughfare to down town San Diego there are decent eateries in adjacent area. Usually priced right parking 10.00 a night.

THE PICTURES ONLINE ARE NOT OF ACTUAL HOTEL!!! This was one of the worst hotel stays. I was surprised when I first walked into the room because it looks nothing like what is advertised but was okay with it at first. Then I noticed that there was gunk caked all over the sink faucet , cigaret burns in the bed sheets, dust and hair on the hair dryer, and at one point they ran out of towels and washcloths to give us. The towels and wash clothes they did give us never seemed that clean and one even had a weird orange stain. I had recently stayed at a comfort inn in another state and really enjoyed my stay but this was horrible and I literally had to push through the gross feeling to avoid spending thousands somewhere else so last minute.

Positive: Breakfast was excellent. There were a variety of items to choose from. Negative: Location. Lots of traffic noise and occasional plane flying above. Also, the television screen is set facing the side of the bed and not in front.

They can put more work in their rooms. Our toilet was moving every time that we sat on it. The safe did not work at all, and the AC didn't cool that much. The people there were nice, breakfast was good. Would us it again. Just for everyone, do not expect something fancy, just a place where to sleep and then go out to do your activities and repeat.

The only reason we booked this hotel was because they had a room with a bunk bed for the kids. The pictures displayed online was a different from the real thing. The room felt damp and there is no fan in the restroom. The bathroom was so small and damp and the door can’t be fully opened because the toilet is in the way. They also charged us $21 dollars for using towels that are going to be rewashed and reused. Just spend the extra bucks and go to a more decent hotel if comfort and peace of mind is what you’re looking for.
