Ramada by Wyndham San Diego Airport

We arrived later in the evening, and we were greeted promptly with a kind smile. Check-in was a breeze. The room had all amenities as described in the booking. The beds were comfortable, and the pullout couch was good (all things considered is its a couch first). The room was stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and body lotion. I would recommend this hotel to others.

Great location, clean rooms and amenities, extremely caring staff! |We stayed 2 night to escape from the LA fires and the bad air quality. Ramada SD airport is close to everything and away from the busy city life or busy freeways. You can take a nice walk along the marina, eat at Mitch’s seafood restaurant, walk to other nice restaurants. If you need a grocery store Ralphs is within walking distance, Trader Joe’s too. The breakfast in the hotel is good! We were very pleased with our stay. Thank you Ramada SD airport!

I work out of town a lot and this is one of the best hotels i have stayed at in a long time.|The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. And such a great spot with multiple places to eat and things to do all within walking distance. I know if your looking for a great spot to rest and enjoy San Diego this is the place to stay.

Overall, not a great stay. Booked here with my family. First thing we noticed was the room smelled stale. Used the bathroom and it was not cleaned well. There was dust on the wall that looked like mold, once I took a wet cloth to it, it was fine. But something visible that could have been addressed. Other guests were loud and disruptive. There was a party one night which resulted in 20 to 30 people in the parking lot, drinking, fighting, doing drugs. People were being carried out of the rooms unconscious. I wasn't sure if they were ok, and front desk just tried to brush it under the rug. For all I knew the unconscious person wasn't breathing, so i called Emergency services, who came and dealt with the crowd. It wouldn't have been safe for my wife and kids to go out to the vehicle if they wanted to. Hotel staff had no interest in ensuring the people on the property were at least alive, regardless of the DLOC. Loud music continued till 430am. Next morning, front desk (next shift) had no idea about the level of violence that was taking place. Management did follow up with me, which was nice. Turns out they knew who the guests were and there have been complaints before, however they are still staying there. Apparently verbal warnings were not doing anything. I guess they prefer the loud, violent and peace disturbing type of client, because I will not go here again. Outside doors that require key scan to get in were consistently propped open, so anyone could just come in. Security and safety not best here. Also, one of the patron asked me at breakfast if i would pay for her room. Lol, classy. I wish I would have read a review like this before i brought my family here. Convenient location for most popular spots in the city. Some parts of the free breakfast were good. Do not stay here for a family vacation

The rooms and beds were properly cleaned. Breakfast was very good . staffs were very good|| Property location is very good, very near to Airport. Ample space for parking. Unlike many other cases, the AC and heater were not sounding weird and were new seemed

Room for improvement - Information on nearby restaurants? What was the point of leaving the door open at the end of the hallway? It meant that the hallway was always cold! Loved the fitness center but the TV did not work! Overall, loved the locale.

We have now stayed here 3 times and have been treated very well. This hotel may not be a huge hotel but it is a comfortable hotel right in the Marina area with balcony’s on the ocean. It is close to everything and is very clean and enjoyable. The staff are helpful and available 24/7 !!! We wouldn’t stay anywhere else now that we found the best with acceptable rates.

The Ramada is a great budget friendly place to stay. The building from the outside looks a little old and run down but once you get in the building everything is nice and modern. The rooms are nice and very clean. I will definitely be staying here again.
