Overall pleasant experience. PROs: walking distance from restaurants, spacious room, clean and affordable CONs: beds could use new mattresses. They're fairly noisy and not very comfortable. No coffee maker in room and just pretty dated. Good value for a quick getaway.

This place is horrible DO NOT stay here. Paid $100 for a room that would only be needed for a few hours because the airport was closed after midnight. I asked multiple times on the phone to confirm that the booking was for after midnight and we would be allowed to check in at that time with the answer being yes. Foolishly, I agreed to pay over the phone and was informed that it would be ready for us in the 20 mins I confirmed it would take us to get there. When we arrived we were informed that my booking was for the next day at 3 pm… as it turns out the person I was talking to was the one that lied to me over the phone about my booking being for midnight of that day. Then he tried to say that we could stay there for an additional $100 security deposit which was not disclosed at the time of booking. This place left two young women stranded in San Diego and then refused to give us a refund on the $100 for the room that they would not allow us to stay in. They’re scammers BEWARE.

Booked a room for my daughter. When she went to check in the office clerk stated her boss canceled the reservation and she’d need to find other accommodations. The clerk was neither kind or helpful. The word my daughter used was rude. It’s a dirty shame to have people in the people industry not act decent to customers.

The amenities were better than I expected it to be. Room and toilet was clean. But the only downside is the rooms are not soundproof at all. I stayed on the first floor and the people living above me, I could constantly hear their footsteps and it was noisy and so hard to sleep at night. It’s alright if there wasn’t anyone staying above or beside me but there was, so there were a lot of noise.

The overall stay wasn’t that bad, although the rooms don’t look as they are advertised in the photos, there was a bit of a smell, wasn’t that bad but it was bothering me when I was sleeping. The bathroom door doesn’t even close you can just push it open no matter how hard u close it. A lot of dust on the hangars, and the beds are very squeaky and disturbing when traveling with 2+ people. The windows are very high and there’s a lot of dust in the ac vents. Location is good, its across the store and the lady at the front desk was helpful.

We slept 2 nights at the Hotel. It is a hotel that is still quite old but has charm. The room was not impeccable (sticky floor, questionable air conditioning installation) but not horrible either. There are even passion fruits that overlook the hotel parking lot. The hotel staff is really nice and accommodating. The kids had a little time to enjoy the swimming pool which was very good.

A perfectly fine motel for a short stay! Stayed one night with 2 friends who wanted something cheap and convenient and it was exactly that. The man who checked us in was so welcoming and gave us a few dinner recommendations which we tried out and loved (Casa Guadalajara in old town). We asked for a room with 2 full beds and actually got one with an extended side-room with a twin cot which was very nice for extra room! Checkout was easy and I got the security deposit back immediately. Location was very central and convenient. There was plenty of parking. Pool was clean and secluded. Absolutely no complaints and I definitely recommend for any travelers who just need something quick and easy for a night or 2.

Room was dirty and my 1 year old woke up with many bed bug bites all over her face. Front desk staff was very rude and not helpful when we were there.
