I had a split reservation over 6 days. The front desk employees were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable with clean linens. A little noise from the airport and train across Pacific Hwy. But overall a great stay. Would definitely go back. A big plus is they don't charge you a parking fee per night like most other motels in the area do.

Super sweet and clean inn. I rented a small room. It was clean, comfortable, and very quiet. The neighborhood is not anything you want to walk around, so a car is helpful. It's a short, 3 minute drive to Old Town. If it were located anywhere else it would probably cost twice as much. Maybe the breakfast is better when they're busier, I don't know, but it didn't really matter to me. It's dog friendly, which does matter to me. I'd stay there again.

After ruling out several San Diego accommodations due to price and high parking fees, we chose the Old Town Inn on account of its central location, positive reviews, and free parking. Location was not great as it’s in a non-walkable neighborhood with commercial buildings and an unhoused population. It’s an odd series of turns to get to Old Town but not far if one avoids rush hour. ||The Inn itself was fine. Pluses included efficient personal (who made a good dinner recommendation for excellent Coyote Café in Old Town), a pleasant lobby with a coffee station, and a breakfast room with many choices. Our comfortably sized double queen room had a 2-drawer dresser plus a drawer under table between beds. Amenities included 2 sitting chairs, one with a reading light, computer desk and chair, adequate outlets, a fridge & microwave & coffee pot, and closet. We particularly liked sinks with good counter space outside and inside restroom and reading lights over the bed. The shower worked fine though the toilet required an effort to flush. While there were some stains in areas, the room was clean. Beds were not comfortable and pillows awful. Parking could be tricky the way the spaces were laid out if the Inn was full. Inn is a 3.5, but I'm rounding down due to neighborhood and beds. Still I would recommend a stay.

What a lovely surprise. Tucked away in a more industrial area the rooms were lovely! Great mattresses and pillows. Immaculate!! Joshua at the desk was so helpful (as was another man whose name I didn’t get) We left too early to try the breakfast but he was describing the variety to another guest and I was impressed. Nice holiday decor gave it a homey feeling. I would stay here again for cruise or airport departure or arrival

Wife and I took a couple nights away for a little stay cation. Chose the Old Town Inn because of the jacuzzi tub in the room. Arrived a little early and was greeted by the manager Josh who was very pleasant. HE advised that the electric fireplace wasn't working at the time and was kind enough to give me a little break on the room. The room was nice and clean. They had a nice selection for breakfast and even had a book and dvd selection in the lobby for the guests. The hotel was quiet and we had no issues during our stay. We will definitely return next time we need a quick get away.

Personally I really like this hotel. My boyfriend and I have been coming here for couple years to get away. We always have a great experience and it always the first place we think of when we look for a room. The front desk people are very nice and pleasant and very accommodating.

I really enjoy this place. We stayed on the 2nd floor of the older building, and I appreciated that it's not a cookie-cutter motel. I enjoyed the old San Diego feel and I especially enjoyed the location. This is smack dab in the center of all of the San Diego highlights and in easy walking distance of Old Town and the trolley system.

This hotel is absolutely perfect! We loved our stay! So homey and the rooms were very comfortable, clean, nicely kept up, perfect space. The breakfast was good, perfect for a fast and easy meal, boiled eggs, yogurts, waffles, danishes, coffee, juice, cereal and more! Around the corner is Old Town San Diego with great food and shops! Loved the atmosphere. We will definitely stay again in the future for our next trip to San Diego! Thank you Old Town Inn!!
