★★★★★Very friendly staff! I loved that there was a full breakfast buffet for the customers. The food was great. But it would have been nice if we could have dinner as well. The beds were cozy and comfortable. I would stay there again if need be. Also great area. Quiet and chill.

★★★★★The Brookhaven Atlanta was wonderful. This used to be a Doubletree and the new owners have kept up the appearance and amenities and added a cheerful, happy staff. I couldn't be more please with the room, the breakfast, the location and the parking. Easy to find, quick access to the interstate and competitive rate. The hotel is close to downtown but in the suburbs (Brookhaven area). Try it and you will be pleased.

★★The service at this hotel is likely among the worst I've ever experienced. Upon arriving to the hotel and getting checked in, I actually had a pleasant first day. Everything was to my liking, and I had no issues or concerns. However, after spilling a small portion of food on the sheets, I politely asked the next morning if the housekeepers could change the sheets. They agreed and said they would be getting to my room, and that they'd be sure to change my sheets and clean up. That same morning, I also saw a housekeeper sitting on the floor behind her cart and staring at her phone while she was supposed to be cleaning a room. This gave me a weird feeling about the quality of service to begin with.||After a long day in Atlanta, I came back to my hotel room to find that no one had come to clean my room, despite me asking for a change of sheets almost 12 hours prior. However, I wasn't even upset at this point, considering spilling the food was my doing. ||I went down to the lobby and reminded them that I'd requested my sheets to be changed, to which the receptionist sighed and told me to hang on. She went back into a separate room for a few minutes before she came out with sheets and handed them to me directly. I asked if anyone would be coming to change my sheets, but the receptionist simply told me that there was no one available to change them, so I would have to do them myself. This was highly unprofessional of them, and not even the worst aspect of my stay. ||Despite my upset, I changed the sheets myself that night because I needed a place to sleep. The next morning, I had a housekeeper knocking on my door and telling me that she'd make sure to get to my room this time, and she'd change my sheets for me. I felt very grateful that they wanted to fix their mistake, and I was willing to move past it. I went out to explore Atlanta that day as normal, and came back to fresh, clean sheets.||However, while I was gone, one of the housekeepers spilled milk all over the carpet and neglected to tell anyone, including me, about it. It wasn't until I began to smell spoiled milk, did I realize what happened. The next morning, I went down to reception again and asked for the mess to be cleaned, as it should have been the moment it happened. A lady came up with a vacuum and a few rags, and very lazily cleaned up the mess.||I stayed in my room for that night, but the following night the smell was simply too pungent to deal with. I had to then go back down to reception once again to request a new room. After giving me a new room just a few doors down, I realized that there was no mirror in this room, nor was the air conditioning functioning. It was 78 degrees, and I wasn't able to get rest whatsoever. It was about 1am at this point, and I had to go back to reception another time to have them move me. They moved me to the 8th floor, where the AC worked again. However, the microwave and fridge were not in working condition. ||At this point, I only had two days till I checked out, so I just kept quiet about the nonfunctioning amenities of the hotel. ||On the last night of my stay, there were tornado warnings all throughout Georgia, and I was told to seek low ground. With me being on the 8th floor, I decided to go to the lobby at around midnight. Cops were walking around the lobby, and it was clear a confrontation had just taken place. Not only that, but there were a multitude of strange individuals roaming the hotel lobby, who admitted to not having a room there, though they weren't forced to leave for almost an hour. This made me feel very unsafe and uncomfortable no matter the part of the hotel I was in.||If you want a mediocre stay in Atlanta, feel free to stay here! This was the strangest and worst service I have EVER received.

★★★★The desk staff are very friendly and helpful. The handicap accessible rooms are clean, comfortable, and easy to move around in. It is close to I-85 exit for those traveling from out of town. I have been going to this location frequently for the past year and have been happy with my experiences.

★★★★★Excellent check in experience! Jameika and Chancy were very friendly and professional. They both greet every guests that comes in and out of the hotel. We stayed at the 9th floor. Just a heads up the entrance door knob to room 916, has to be lifted up instead of pulling it down. The room was clean and smell fresh. Our room faced the highway and it got pretty noisy, it didn’t bother us because we brought our sound machine. We are light sleeper, we always come prepared. We also ordered dinner to go from the hotel restaurant and our food was delicious and tasty! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

★Upon entering room 922, we discovered that the AC was off. I switched it on and set the temperature to 67 degrees, but the room continued to heat up, reaching 78 degrees at one point. Both my husband and I felt uncomfortably warm and unable to sleep, prompting us to open the window. We also heard a loud rumbling noise from the HVAC system. Unable to rest, we decided to go out for breakfast around 5:30 AM, during which we notified the front desk about the problem. The staff member assured me that a technician would address the issue after 9 AM. At around 10 AM, a loud bang emanated from the bathroom area, and the ceiling in front of the bathroom collapsed. Fortunately, we were not injured. We checked out that same morning and requested a full refund. I must also mention that the hallway on the 9th floor was unclean and had a musty odor. As a devoted Hilton Honors member, I am truly disappointed with this property—not just because of the staff interaction but also due to the poor quality of the facilities. While DoubleTree is not on the same level as Waldorf Astoria, it should also not resemble a Motel 6! Hilton corporate needs to send someone to assess this property; continuing to associate the DoubleTree name with it will only damage Hilton's reputation!

★★Well, we just stayed at a Doubletree in Dallas and gave it a 5 Star rating. No so for this one, maybe a 2 or 3 at best. Traffic noise from I-85 was awful. A/C didn't get the room cooled until almost morning. The breakfast was overpriced for limited items. Even the items there were about empty at 8:30am. Parking is free but pretty limited. Room lock didn't work right, had to get security to come and open the door. TV station availability was limited. Definitely wouldn't stay there again. Only positive was price as it was lower than other nearby hotels.
