Le Méridien Atlanta Perimeter

I used to stay at this hotel before the pandemic and thought it was really nice. The rooms seem a bit rundown and out of date. My room was huge but didn’t have a fridge, only something that looked like a fridge but had a sticker on it saying it wasn’t a fridge. The bathroom was definitely dated and there were chairs in a table that could be considered a kitchen-like area that were all torn up and there were stains on the couch. It looks really nice as long as you don’t look too close. The workout room is a bit small for that size hotel. Was super crowded the first morning I went down. That said, the beds were comfortable and I slept great and I really was able to spread out. The bar staff was nice and friendly. The lobby is really pretty. Convention location. Would stay again if my usual Marriott is booked again.

Positive: The staff was very accommodating and helpful Negative: We had to switch rooms two times! The first room smelled like old cigarettes, the next room had a broken sink faucet and shower handle that did not work properly. Also the televisions at the hotel did not work one day and steaming services never worked.

Was here for a small gaming convention. We've been coming here for several years now and they've changed the management. The new management appears to be all about nickel and diming the guests and event attendees. Multiple rooms had plumbing issues (loud or screaming pipes and sudden drops in water pressure), the bathrooms in the event space were frequently out of soap (at one point there was 1 working dispenser out of 6 between the women's and men's bathrooms). Drinking water was allowed to not be replenished during the overnight hours (we're a 24 hour convention), and no outside food was allowed in the event space , forcing people to leave the event space and go to their rooms to eat (if the attendees even had a room) or otherwise pay $22+for a gyro or burger. Worst of all was the event coordinator overhearing a small snippet of conversation between attendees and without any context running to management and claiming one of our founders was a racist. The rooms themselves are nice (aside from the previously mentioned plumbing issues), and the beds are comfortable, but I wouldn't hold an event here if it can be avoided.

Nice rooms, no fridge though at all. You also don’t get free parking when you book your room, so expect an additional $20 a day. No free WiFi, costs about 12-20$ a day, no free breakfast. Ice machine didn’t work on my floor either. House keeping also threw out some of my stuff that I brought for my trip.

A great hotel. great rooms no matter which type you choose. All have lots of space,Staff is seriously helpfull and realy friendly.Hotel itself does not have much choice for food, but there is a large shopping mall and all around the hotel you can find great restaurants for breakfast, lunch and diner.No matter where I need to be in Atlanta, if in Atlanta, THIS is where I stay.

The hotel was in a great location close to restaurants, convenience stores the mall overall it is safe to stay there. The downsize is they don’t have a microwave in the hotel room that we was in nor do they have a refrigerator however they do have a cooler where like you store your wine They have very little parking Space. They charge 20 dollars a night to park

My stay was great. The food and service at the bar were exceptional. I had one problem with the front desk service. I requested that my 4-night stay be split up between 2 cards. I gave the staff member my card, and she said it was done. I received my folio, and the TOTAL stay was charged to the second card. She had one job, and that was to split the bill. LISTEN LISTEN LISTEN!!!

I’ve stayed here a few times now. I enjoy staying here! Just some odd quirks - They only have a microwave on the lobby level. Not a big deal but can’t reheat anything in your room. Some of the beds only have outlets on one side - making it a little bit difficult to charge things bedside if you’re sharing a bed. I also think they’ve disabled the ability for you to call the front desk on the phones in the room? I had to go to a phone in the hallway to ask for towels (and to ask where I can find a microwave) The service is great, I always enjoy the water pressure from the showers there, the bartender will remember your drink orders if you stay more than one night which is pretty cool. The continental breakfast is not filling - mostly carbs like toast, croissants, etc. Small charcuterie selection had smoked salmon which was great, but hard to make a meal out of that. Hot food is available as well but has a $6 surcharge. The people working breakfast are very helpful. Within walking distance of the mall, a bunch of bars/restaurants/grocery stores are walkable within 10-15 minutes. Sidewalks are big. Parking machine didn’t work so I had to call for ‘help’ every time I left the lot (takes 3 seconds for them to just open the gate for you) but I didn’t have to pay for parking because of that, which is always a plus
