Went for the evacuation due to Hurricane Milton. Arrived at 7 am in the morning. 23 hrs no sleep, check in and at 8 am they start going around hammering, moving ladders and making a huge racket with painting. Further, when they painted the balconies, the smell of the paint leaked all the way into the rooms and hallways. The response from the folks down stairs was, oh well, painting is gonna be done and can't get around it. Basically a don't like it, leave type of reply knowing full well that other places were booked up. Don't even get started on the laundry room. Apparently someone else had already complained about it prior to us and people using it dontnknow how to read either since they kept putting detergent in the softener bin. Apparently the people cleaning knew more about what was available and what to find where than the actual people working in the lobby. An older lady working in the lobby was the only one who seemed to have a lot of knowledge. For the type of brand it is, you'd think service was gonna be amazing. So much for hospitality central, the slogan for the city the hotel was located in.

They were very kind and accommodating. The building was being painted and our patio was sealed off in plastic. They moved us quickly. The bistro was closed for dinner sadly. The morning coffee was good except they charged almost $5 a cup. Overall, a nice place.

What a lovely hotel! It was so clean and quite--a nice respite from the big city. Staff are friendly and efficient. I had breakfast in the Bistro on two different days, quick and efficient, and delicious. The room was also very clean--loved the shower! I will definitely stay here again.

Our check-in process started smoothly, and we were informed of a $40 incidental fee that would be refunded, which I had no issue with. We were also told our room would have a sofa bed, which was surprising because I had booked a room with two double beds through my AMEX travel account.||We were given a room on the first floor, but upon entering, we immediately noticed a strong smell of mildew and mold. The bigger issue was that the room only had one bed, so I double-checked my reservation and confirmed that I had indeed booked two double beds.||I returned to the front desk, where Margaret assisted me, though “assisted” may be too generous. She was dismissive and claimed that since I booked through Expedia, I shouldn’t have been able to book a room with two double beds in the first place. She also insisted that no such rooms were available as they were fully booked, and there was nothing she could do. Frustrated, I went back to my room, which still smelled like mold.||I contacted AMEX travel, who reached out to the hotel on my behalf. Not long after, I received a call from the front desk informing me that—suddenly—a room with two double beds had become available due to a cancellation. This only confirmed my frustration, as Margaret hadn’t bothered to check earlier.||On top of all that, there was construction happening, which we were informed about. However, the noise started as early as 6 or 7 AM, making the stay even more unpleasant.||This was my first and last stay at this hotel. I frequently book in the Perimeter Center area, but this was by far the worst experience.||Tip: If you’re staying on the first floor, be aware that your room might smell of mildew and mold. While I can’t confirm it’s the case for all rooms, there’s a strong chance you’ll encounter the same issue.

DO NOT STAY HERE ! I booked 2 nights for my bf and added him as a guest on my account. The manager at the front and an associate stated that there was a different name on the account when my bf showed them the confirmation sent via email with HIS name on the reservation. The manger then states she sees my bfs name and that they needed his card when the room was already paid for. The manger then states that because another name was on the account (which there wasn’t) because I had proof there was going to be issues with booking. I asked for them to cancel the room for the 2 nights because of the horrible service and the attitude provided by the management here. Imagine traveling and getting to your hotel and trying to check in for an HOUR and they are denying you service and creating problems. Do better I’ve stayed at plenty of Marriott’s and have NEVER had this problem.

We did not feel welcomed by the attitude of the front desk staff. Some of the rooms are under repainting. We are sensitive to the pungent smell and ask for changing a room. In the beginning, she did not want to do that for us and say no room for us. After we nicely explained, she said she could give us a double room, and we accepted it. Additionally, the water is not complimentary unless you are a gold member. It's my first time living in a hotel with no complimentary water provided. And when we lifted the quilt, the sheets were all wrinkled. I don't think they changed the sheet.

The person that checked me in was excellent but when I returned at about 3:15am the services was absolutely horrible and both elevators were broken and I am partially handicapped and had to walk the stairs and it was extremely difficult. The person at the desk at that time did not appear to care and offered no solution but to walk the stairs. See video evidence.
