The Carpentry Hotel

Absolute GEM of a hotel! On arrival day, I received a lovely call from Ella at the front desk asking if there was anything she could do to make my arrival perfect: she offered extra water, to set my room temperature, etc. ||Upon arrival, she looked me in the eye and welcomed me, then shared the multiple amentities available from the hotel. I was early, and my room wasn't quite ready, so I went to my conference early. She called within an hour to let me know my room was ready and waiting. ||The hotel is gorgeous on the inside: blue doors for all the rooms, and it just feels so quiet and nice. The rooms are wonderful, with blue tile walk-in showers, plenty of space for your clothes, branded water bottles, a Keuring, coffee and tea pods, and a gorgeous leather binder with hotel information. The hotel was very full, but I never heard a thing in my room. It was like being in a little comfy bubble. The beds are wonderfully made and comfortable.||A free light continental breakfast (pastries, coffee, tea) is offered each morning in the bar; the breakfast bread was delicious, and they had my favorite tea available. ||I've had a ton of work travel lately and I'm a little burned out on hotels; The Carpentry was the first hotel I was SAD to check-out of. Planning a trip closer to Christmas to take my husband for a visit!

This hotel was delightful discovery. We were making a long two day drive from Florida to Illinois. We did not originally plan to stay overnight in Dalton but the day had been long and traffic around Atlanta horrific. The Carpentry popped up during my hotel search. Reviews were excellent and the price was better than other area hotels and the property pics were much more interesting. The building is brand new. The interiors are unique and celebrate the industry which Dalton is known for. The staff was great. Welcoming and knowledgeable. There are several restaurants directly across the street. The Carpentry has a nice second floor outdoor patio. They also offer a complimentary danish and beverage breakfast. It was a great, refreshing break from our long drive and from the boring, cookie cutter, questionable hotel properties that dot the expressway. I would stay here again.

I had my wedding in Dalton last month and used The Carpentry to book a hotel block for guests as well as stayed there myself. We had a great experience. Shout out to April for answering about 100 emails in the last year! The rooms are super cute and clean and all of our guests loved the rooftop bar!

Amazing hotel, staff is so nice, everything was perfect. I had them write a happy birthday note and it was a hand-written letter and even a free drink at the bar up top which made it so much more special. The rooftop area/bar is very nice and so much fun for hanging out at night time.

We stayed at this boutique hotel for a wedding we had in town and absolutely adored it! The location is perfect, the decor and rooms have such a cool, gorgeous vibe. The staff was super friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. It was such a chill, peaceful spot, and we loved every moment and detail of our stay!

They did such a great job on this boutique hotel. The rooms are well stocked with coffee, and water bottles. The bathroom is luxuriously styled and nice smelling bath products were provided. The bar area, is small but if you walk onto the outdoor space it had umbrellas and service was very attentive. Would recommend!!!

This boutique style hotel was very clean and well appointed. The room had everything we needed during our stay.|The king size bed was super comfortable. ||The quaint rooftop bar is a nice touch if you are looking to relax and have a drink.||The front desk representative by the name of Izzy receives the three Ps, professional, polite and personable.|Izzy went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and that we felt welcomed.||Restaurants and a very cool craft brewery by the name of Cherokee are within a short walking distance. ||Just a fantastic experience all of the way around! Highly recommend!

The Carpentry Hotel was a wonderful experience! Comfortable beds, cozy atmosphere. Loved the rooftop bar and the perfect location to walk anywhere in downtown. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Convenient location, free parking, and shampoo/conditioner/body wash provided in the shower. Hotel is also beautifully decorated.
