SpringHill Suites Savannah Airport

Stayed at recently renovated SpringHill Suites Savannah Airport. For a mid to budget price point, property is good. Mobile check in was okay with no issue. Was not recognized being an Elite member. Studio double queen Room 116 was cleaned and in good order. Shower and toilet in one room with the vanity set right outside of the bathroom. There is a coffee bar with under counter mini refrigerator. Breakfast area is well organized and stocked. The spinach quiche was tasty and hot. Turkey sausage patties were so-so and scrambled eggs were bland. The fixings varieties were plenty for oats meal and cereals. The hot water for teas and hot chocolate was Luke warm. The rest of the breakfast bar had standard items. To sum up, for short in the area SpringHill Suites is a good property to be at. Property is in centralized area with restaurants, shops (outlets mall), and Savannah Airport.

Came to hotel to relax. I 95 was backed up so we couldn’t make it to where we were headed which was Jacksonville Florida. Got settled in our room which has a musty smell. Went to take my son down to enjoy the pool and for me to get in the hot tub. Pool was a yellow color and hot tub not working. Husband went to desk and asked about the hot tub and they guy at the front said oh it’s been broken you should write it up! Wow just wow and now that I’m seeing other reviews it seems it’s been broken for months! Now I paid well over $200 so yeah you all could at least get that fixed! Breakfast was not good! Watered down OJ which really pisses me off! Watery scrambled eggs and not so done sausages! This is a shame! Never again!

We had a “drip” issue coming from the air vent in the bathroom. It kept waking us all night. So, to be fair, I should have contacted management in the middle of the night. But we were exhausted from traveling all day. We were able to close the bathroom door, but the constant sound really interrupted our sleep. First thing in the morning, I reported the issue to the front desk. A actually played a video to the clerk so she could hear it. She agreed that it was annoying. She made no offer to “make it right”. I was not expecting a “freebie” but some acknowledge that we were inconvenienced for a room issue. I tried to upload the video but couldn’t.

My fiancé and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean and the service was excellent. Chris at the front desk went above and beyond. I have never met a friendlier staff member at any hotel. Thank you Chris, we will be back!

Recently stayed one night traveling from Florida to Pa. First off was not recognized as being a Bonvoy member. Hotel isn’t the easiest to access as you have to drive behind other buildings to get to it. Claims to be recently renovated but we had a toilet that was leaking out of the bottom onto the floor. Smelled like urine in the bathroom which is from the toilet leaking onto the floor. Bathroom door handle and light switch were both broken. Payed over 200 to stay which is too much for the accommodations provided. I usually choose a Marriott location when traveling but will look elsewhere if in the area again.

Great place to stay! Location right off I-95. Beautiful, clean rooms. Very comfortable bed!!Great free breakfast with alot of choices. Staff is great and Chris who greeted me a front desk last night was fantastic!! If you are looking for a safe, clean comfortable place to stay, you found it!

The primary reason I chose the airport Springhill Suites was that they have a hot tub. Did I get to use it? NO. Out of order, all 3 days I was there. Did they offer anything to compensate? NO. Be sure to call to make sure it is working. Also, the rooms aren't really suites, they just have a partial partition with a rollout couch. The rooms share the same TV.

They advertise a hot tub but when we arrived we couldn't get in, they had to badge us in. The water in pool and the spa was a yellowish color. When I checked the hot tub it was ice cold. And operating the controls did nothing. When we went back to the front desk to ask about it, they said "the spa tub isn't working right now". Literally was the whole reason we booked this hotel, so I could soak my back after ten hours of driving. Lesson learned - ALWAYS call ahead to verify amenities...
