Candlewood Suites Idaho Falls, an IHG Hotel

Spent a quick night here with our two huskies and were very impressed. We search out pet friendly hotels and this one only had a $10 pet fee per night. The suite had a complete kitchen. The hotel is newer than most and it had a great path to walk dogs along the snake river. The bed was very comfy and I really don’t have any complaints. We will be back.

I go to the Idaho Falls area a lot for business and I always try to stay here. The staff is very friendly, and not in the typical "it's my job to be friendly way". I needed a late check out and they gave me an extra half hour beyond what I asked for "so you don't have to stress". I love that they give you popcorn in you room! Oh, and I booked it at the last minute -- they have a board welcoming IHG members by name (first name last initial). I remember walking in and thinking that my name wouldn't be be there because I booked late, and it was there! (It seems so little, and I was surprised I even thought about it...) They also welcome pets by name I think...

The room was spacious, great layout and very clean. There were multiple washers and dryers for everyone to use. The gym was well equipped and spotless. It was so nice to workout with clean working equipment. To top it off it was pet friendly. We had a wonderful stay and will defiantly stay again when we travel through Idaho Falls.

Driving up it looked like a nice normal hotel. Once we were checked in by kind efficient desk clerk, we went up to our rooms and quite surprised at the quality of the room, the extra large size, and amenities. Instead of being long and narrow, it was more square shaped giving more space to move around and not feel cramped. The room we had offered a nice little kitchen with a stove, dishwasher, sink and full fridge. Plus of course a coffee maker. Our room was on the river side and had a small balcony that had a wonderful view, especially at night with Christmas lights up. This is the type of room that if you had to stay in the area for a week or two, you would not lose your mind. The exercise room downstairs was clean and had a good amount of equipment. We will definitely stay here again.

This was a good location for our one night stay. I appreciated that the front desk team was so kind and welcoming. They recognized that I was a member and that was really nice. Appreciated that the room was comfortable, nice recliner chair and very comfortable bed. Nice to have a kitchen in the room, we did not really need it but it was nice to have that. It was quiet at night which helped to get a good night sleep. Appreciated the coffee in the Morning. Really would have liked some type of breakfast.

They were accommodating to my late check in and upgrades at that late hour. Great service no matter what time of the day. Room was warm when I walked in and great view out patio. Got my rewards questions and frequent guest updates.

If you plan to stay away from home for work, hands down great place. It came with some great features, rooms clean, staff was awesome and even made the visit for my kids perfect, close by food and river view. If you need breakfast, you won't get it, but free massages work for early risers. Best part, I stayed for almost 5 months and no complaints.

This hotel was excellent for what we needed. The hotel was very comfy. The front desk lady assisted us with getting a first floor room even though we had been assigned a 2nd floor room. The room was very spacious with a large pull-out couch and small recliner type seat. The kitchen in the room had all the pots and pans along with a big fridge. The small walking track next to the river was nice to use for an afternoon walk. The only CON is there is no breakfast. The items in the cupboard were pricey. I loved the free laundry mat and well as the rental locker, my son enjoyed the Disney movies available. Very quiet location and no complaints. 10/10 recommend.
