Quality Inn Idaho Falls

This is a cheap motel, so we didn't have big expectations- but, it was grungier and more run down than most, very dirty under the bed, and is right next to an event center that was blasting loud music for much of the night. The front desk was very nice and helpful however, and it's nice being next to the river trail (silver linings). We'll be spending a little more money on a cleaner (and hopefully quieter!) hotel on the way back.

Positive: The mattress and pillows were wonderful! Breakfast was wonderful! Negative: This particular room...the carpet was beyond dirty...the bathroom floor was deplorable...behind the door dirt and dust. The tub did not drain...water up to my ankles before I was done showering.

The hotel is disgusting. Dirty room and poor maintenance. First thing I noticed was the draft coming from the gap between the window and the wall that they thought no one would notice because it was behind curtain. I pulled back curtain and the gap had spider webs and dirt coming in. It was a draft that made the room freezing. There was a flosser on bathroom floor in the open that should have been noticed. The toilet seat had a lot of gunk around it in clear view. I put sign on my door to not be disturbed the next day. I had stuff out I didn’t want disturbed. I left to get food for a few minutes, came back and they had been in to “clean” the room. So they ignored my request to stay out and the flosser was still there even when they came into “clean”. There is also a huge gap between door to room And hallway. This is a safety issue and also made the hallway noise easier to hear. Needs lots of updating and cleaning,

Overall, will never be staying here again. The room was dirty when we checked in, nothing about this hotel was clean… the wonderful lady at the front desk is the only saving grace for this review. She was an absolute delight! Oh, the hotel is also next to an event center blasting loud bass music late into the night. No sleep to be had that’s for sure. Pet friendly was a silver lining in this experience… but that’s about it. 2/10.

I recently stayed at the Quality Inn, despite its fantastic location across from the falls, was highly unsatisfactory due to its poor condition and cleanliness. The rooms were disgusting. There was black mold in all the grout around the tiles on the walls, which is a serious health hazard. To make matters worse, I found a used bar of soap in the shower, indicating that it had not been properly cleaned. The floors were so filthy that my feet turned black from walking on them. Additionally, I had to kill bugs that were surrounding the nasty window seal. The bedding was not clean and had stains all over the place, making it very uncomfortable to sleep. The pool was another major disappointment. It was so nasty that we could not swim in it, defeating the purpose of having a pool at all. On a positive note, the customer service at the front desk was great. The staff was friendly and tried to be helpful, but it couldn't make up for the terrible condition of the hotel. I strongly advise against staying here until the mold is addressed and the air quality in the rooms is improved. For such a prime location, you would expect the hotel to be top-notch, but sadly, it fell far short of expectations.

Booked this for an employee coming out of town for a couple nights. Room was so filthy. Tried to go to another room filthy as well. Tried to cancel on booking website, couldn't. Tried calling the desk to let them know he wouldn't be staying there either night to hopefully get some kind of refund, no answer. My employee tried to even clean the room himself but the hotel didn't even have a vacuum. What kind of horrible place, one doesn't have a vacuum, two has the only pristine pictures that must have been taken long ago, and three won't answer the phone. JUST KNOW YOU SHOULDN'T STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT SOME KIND OF DISEASE.

Positive: Room size was ok. Negative: Room floor and carpet were not clean. Food on floor and just dirty ! Told front desk and asked that they sweep it. Some of the food particles were removed but it was not vacuumed. Disappointed by the overall hotel, worn out and dirty.

Front desk service was top notch, lobby very clean and organized. This was in contrast to the room. It wasn't horrible but definitely needs better housekeeping. Definitely. Location isn't near any amenities other than a gas station across the highway. We didn't mind, but you might. Find somewhere else for breakfast in my opinion, half frozen omelets, rotten tangerines, and expired yogurt were highlights of the continental breakfast. Coffee and tea are available 24/7 and that was great. With a few minor changes like better breakfast staffing and retraining of housekeeping, could be a great place. As is, it's not on a list I'd recommend or revisit.
