Candlewood Suites Idaho Falls by IHG

When I travel, finding a safe, comfortable, clean place to spend the night is paramount. Although that is my main focus, I always appreciate extra comforts and conveniences. The Idaho Falls Candlewood Suites provided that. Having a recliner in the room felt like a luxury and, as an older person, I especially appreciated the grab bar by the shower. I liked having liquid soap in a dispenser, rather than a little bar of soap, and shampoo and conditioner in dispensers in the shower instead of little individual bottles. So much less waste. Although I didn’t use the kitchenette during my one-night stay, it would certainly be a godsend had I stayed for an extended period. I’ve traveled a lot this past year and, even in nice hotels, I can’t tell you how many filthy room carpets and littered hallways I’ve seen. Not here. Every area of the hotel was clean and well-maintained. And, importantly, the staff were welcoming, efficient, friendly, and polite. The hotel is conveniently located and it’s nice that it is on the river and by the riverwalk. Plus, there are plenty of eateries close by. Overall, I will plan on staying here again on my next trip to Idaho Falls. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Having never stayed at a Candlewood Suites we were happily surprised at all this property had to offer. The room was perfect for two travelers. It was nice to have a kitchen and the bathroom was spacious. Also, most importantly, the staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was spacious, great layout and very clean. There were multiple washers and dryers for everyone to use. The gym was well equipped and spotless. It was so nice to workout with clean working equipment. To top it off it was pet friendly. We had a wonderful stay and will defiantly stay again when we travel through Idaho Falls.

If there is a Candlewood Suites in the location I am traveling to, I will always choose them over all others. The consistency among all locations never wavers. The beds are consistently comfortable, as are the amenities, and the peace and quiet. Idaho Falls is no different. I loved the walking path adjacent to the hotel, which went along the river. So beautiful, peaceful and quiet. And yet close to dining and shopping options.

Spent a quick night here with our two huskies and were very impressed. We search out pet friendly hotels and this one only had a $10 pet fee per night. The suite had a complete kitchen. The hotel is newer than most and it had a great path to walk dogs along the snake river. The bed was very comfy and I really don’t have any complaints. We will be back.

Checked in extremely late tonight after an all day fiasco at the airport traveling across the United States. Tired, hungry and stressed to the max. When I got to this hotel I was greeted by Teri. She was extremely nice and informative and made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay as comfortable as possible. She is a great representation for this company. Management If you’re seeing this SHE NEEDS TO BE GIVEN A RAISE!!!!

I go to the Idaho Falls area a lot for business and I always try to stay here. The staff is very friendly, and not in the typical "it's my job to be friendly way". I needed a late check out and they gave me an extra half hour beyond what I asked for "so you don't have to stress". I love that they give you popcorn in you room! Oh, and I booked it at the last minute -- they have a board welcoming IHG members by name (first name last initial). I remember walking in and thinking that my name wouldn't be be there because I booked late, and it was there! (It seems so little, and I was surprised I even thought about it...) They also welcome pets by name I think...

Driving up it looked like a nice normal hotel. Once we were checked in by kind efficient desk clerk, we went up to our rooms and quite surprised at the quality of the room, the extra large size, and amenities. Instead of being long and narrow, it was more square shaped giving more space to move around and not feel cramped. The room we had offered a nice little kitchen with a stove, dishwasher, sink and full fridge. Plus of course a coffee maker. Our room was on the river side and had a small balcony that had a wonderful view, especially at night with Christmas lights up. This is the type of room that if you had to stay in the area for a week or two, you would not lose your mind. The exercise room downstairs was clean and had a good amount of equipment. We will definitely stay here again.
