This hotel is fine, the water will leave you feeling a bit slimy. But the GM here, Deon Smith, is a great manager and goes above and beyond for the guests. I travel quite a bit for work and stay in Marriott facilities often, and Mr. Smith exerted a tremendous effort to take care of me when the Marriott system failed and put him in a tough spot. I have never experienced a hotel GM put such effort forth for the guests of their facility, especially since he was not even directly responsible. Thank you Deon, you have won me back and I will always stay here while in the area as a direct result of your management. I hope they take good care of you, because They have a real asset in your leadership.

I would stay here again the next time I’m in the area visiting. The staff was very accommodating when I asked for an extra pillow and soap. The managers were very professional yet nice the guests. The breakfast was good and hot and the hotel was very clean at least the parts I saw. I need assistance with handicap room and it wasn’t a problem. For the price you can’t beat it. The only problem was the weather but the hotel can’t help that.

stayed in a studio, was very spacious clean and comfortable. The downside was the walls are very thin and can hear everything in the room next door and the floor above. the front desk person was not really professional and seemed to hate his job.

Stayed here for an event at UIUC. May be we are just blessed, our room was perfect and clean. We didn’t experience any of what some reviewers have complained about. Pleasantly surprised to see the fridge and microwave are not mini size; the room is big and modern with upgrades. Breakfast is great too! The only thing is they should probably work on resolving the issues with third party reservation so that check in goes smooth and more efficient. Will come back again for future events at UIUC! I think it deserves at least 4.5/5 instead of the current 3.9 stars.

Nice rooms and layout, but shower was dirty, staff was very slow to respond and of all the hotels I have checked into - this one took the longest by far (and I already had a reservation). The level of trash on the property was very alarming too. This was one of th only options for pet friendly hotel during a tour of college campus' in the area

The hotel is nice and renovated, with an outdoor gravel/grill/seating area that puts the nearby un-decorated hotels to shame! Haha. We had a nice time here. It was fun to run into Deon, the GM of the hotel, in the breakfast area on check-out morning. He does a great job. Hopefully will travel back to the area soon.

The room was dirty, I travel alot for work so seeing some thing in rooms does not bother me, a hair. Ect... this room had food left in the refrigerator, finger/ toe nail clippings on the bathroom floor, dirty dishes in the dishwasher, and a dirty hand towel hanging over the curtain rod in the shower. I have been in this hotel before and i was shocked by the appalling condition.
