We stayed at Pendry Chicago to celebrate our anniversary, and it was such a memorable experience! The hotel played a huge role in making our trip special. Location (10/10): Perfect. You're close to all the major attractions—Millennium Park, the Riverwalk, Michigan Avenue—everything is just a short walk away. Restaurant On-Site(5/10): Honestly, the dinner options were pretty bad. Breakfast and lunch were just okay, not memorable. BUT the rooftop bar had the best crème brûlée we’ve ever had. Room Quality (8/10): It’s an older building, and the standard rooms are quite small. Thankfully, Rosalba and Angel were amazing and helped us upgrade to a more comfortable room. Their service truly made a difference. Amenities (10/10): The gym was clean, had high-quality equipment and free weights, and was open 24/7—huge plus! We also loved the complimentary Cadillac service to nearby restaurants and the lovely tea selections near the lobby. Noise Levels (6/10): You’ll hear traffic and sirens—it’s downtown Chicago, after all. Just something to be aware of. Service (10/10): Outstanding across the board. Everyone we interacted with was professional, helpful, and friendly. No complaints at all. Surreal Moment: Okay, this one takes the cake. One day, the elevator had a little glitch and took us to a random floor. The doors opened... and Elijah Wood (yes, Frodo Baggins himself) was standing right there! He was incredibly friendly and kind, and we even got a chance to take a photo with him. Totally unexpected and definitely the most legendary elevator ride of our lives. Overall Value (9/10): Despite some dining and room size drawbacks, I would definitely stay here again and proudly recommend Pendry Chicago to friends and family.

Wonderful stay at the Pendry this past weekend. The room was beautiful and had a great view. Hannah at the front desk was amazing and so welcoming. This hotel has mastered customer service and many others could learn from them. Even when I had the privacy sign on the door I received a text message saying to please reply when I would like service. Everyone was super friendly. Five stars!

We booked through Amex fine hotels collection. Overall, we had a very good experience we were able to get an upgrade that day. The kids really liked the hotel. We ate at bar and cafe pendry, which was good. The location was convenient. Hotel is also very clean and the staff were all really nice. would come back again and stay. Thank you

I stayed at the Pendry Chicago for a work event. I traveled with 10 other coworkers and we rented meeting space in the hotel, so this review is mainly about that experience. The meeting rooms themselves do not have windows or natural light. The standard AV setup was quite basic and not really suitable for taking conference calls. There are no coffee or water stations available for people who use the meeting spaces. And they are quite strict about outside food and drink - one of our team members was unaware that this was prohibited and ordered some breakfast sandwiches. We were fined $500 for this -we offered to spend $500 at the bar and on in-room dining, and they originally agreed to this but later reneged on the agreement. Considering that we spent over $10K with them over 3 days, this felt like nickel and diming. Overall, I do not recommend this hotel for meetings and work purposes. You're better off renting from a coworking space, where there are more amenities and where you are free to order Ubereats or whatever else works best for your situation. The hotel rooms themselves were fine (quite spacious) and the location was good (right next to Millennium Park).

Stayed here three nights in a corner king. The room was very large. Well appointed. Felt like a 5 star. Plush robes. Nice bathroom with lots of counter space. Super quiet which I appreciated. The bed is a little soft so keep that in mind. The foyer and bar are relaxing and plush. Just an overall great hotel. Perfect location. Highly recommend. Staff was nice. Service was great.

This was a wonderful place to stay! I actually wasn't feeling great and spent a lot of time in the room, which was honestly lovely and comfortable. All of the staff were friendly and made me feel welcome, they even sent up a special birthday treat for me to enjoy. Will definitely be back!
