Had a good stay again. Did have an issue with one of gentleman at front desk being rude but a manager did help me with my questions and was very nice. The doorman is awesome (go gophers). Alonso Garcia from valet was extremely helpful and nice, if he is not a supervisor/manager the hotel is missing out on a great representative. Can’t wait to come back with my little one as she likes to be treated like royalty and the staff here does make you feel welcome.

Excellent experience! Beautiful hotel. The staff was wonderful! Alonso and Garcia, two of the doormen, could not have been more helpful. Will definitely return next time I’m in the city and in need of a hotel room. Would certainly recommend to others.

Hotel Review The hotel’s decor is absolutely stunning, with a charming vintage feel that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. Every detail, from the antique furnishings to the elegant lighting, adds to its unique character. However, my experience was unfortunately overshadowed by discovering bed bugs in my room. This was extremely disappointing and made for an uncomfortable stay. While the staff was courteous and the ambiance was lovely, cleanliness and guest comfort should be the top priority. I hope management addresses this issue promptly, as the hotel has so much potential.

Great location near a lot of restaurants, theaters and transportation. Our room was small with no closet, but so was their price as compared to other hotels in the area, which is why we stayed there. Bar was nice and all the employees we met there were great and helpful. The only drawback was that the hotel is on the older side and a little dated but not the worst. This place is great for singles or couples just needing a place to stay for a night or two at an affordable price.

I did not have a good experience. We decided to spend Valentine’s Day/anniversary in the city. This hotel was close to the restaurant we wanted to go to. First off, The rooms are very small for a $200 night stay and the bed was hard. And THE WALLS ARE THIN! We could hear the couple in the room next to ours arguing and doing the deed clear as day! It was uncomfortable and kept us up. The next morning at about 9am, housekeeping came into our room TWICE even though checkout isn’t until 11. When we checked out, it took valet over an hour and a half to get our car. I was very disappointed in my stay. I just wanted a good night in the city, where we can sleep good and sleep in the next morning. I did not get that 😔

Excellent stay! We booked last-minute, and this hotel was one of the more affordable options—turns out it was a fantastic choice. The location is excellent, and everything was spotless. Would definitely stay here again.

The location is perfect if you’re in town to see a play. It’s literally right next door to the Cadillac Palace Theatre. The accomodations are excellent as well. The room was spacious enough and the bed was comfortable. Had an extremely positive and welcoming check in experience with David. |Also, the bar/lounge area was lively and fun during our stay. |Only downside is that there are no restaurants nearby that are open late. So if you want to eat after your show, you’re going to be out of luck unless you cab/Uber.

Great location, close to lots of shopping and food. The bar was fully stocked and the decor is elegant. We loved staying here and couldn’t see myself staying anywhere else in Chicago. Joaquin is a 10/10 valet person and very friendly. His music is great too!
