The view is spectacular, and it is wonderfully quiet in the Hotel. I have found any of the staff that I've interacted with to be pleasant and accommodating. The location is great, for both walking or grabbing the "L" to get around the city. I was very comfortable in my rooms, the bedding is very nice and cozy. I love the robes provided in the room. The Buckingham is in a VERY secure building, I often travel solo, so this is important to my sense of safety. Oh and the guest lounge is quite nice, as is the continental breakfast every morning. I have stayed here several times, and I will be back!!

The mansion is divine and the service and attention from owners Laura and Rick are indescribable. The place has a Christmas atmosphere and it was a wonderful experience for us. Breakfast is prepared lovingly and individually according to the guest's prior choice. The dish is well served and decorated, as well as very tasty. The location is not very good, but as we had a car this was not a problem.

Beware of unexpected charges to your credit or debit card in the form of previously undisclosed “resort fees” and for minibar items you’ve never used. Also beware of the hotel staff giving you the runaround when you contact them regarding this matter, and exhibiting extremely poor communication skills (including placing callers on prolonged unannounced holds, and outright discounting calls). If you look at additional reviews, a pattern of poor customer service may emerge. Also note that while the hotel tends to respond to many of these reviews, the response never includes an offer to follow up with the customer directly, address their specific concerns, and make things right by them.

Kind of feels like walking into an Episode of Atlanta when you first get there as you enter through a big shiny financial building then take one older and fancier looking elevator up only one floor to the lobby, which looks entirely different from the rest of the building…. Rooms were clean, view was spectacular! Bed was so cozy! I hope they never get rid of the marble bathroom and fixtures!

Staying here for the weekend! Staff is super friendly, it's low key giving the Tipton hotel vibes lol. It's so dang secure! Need a key to even get to the elevators. Outside visitors CANNOT get past the front desk. Doordashing requires you to go to the front desk which I didn't mind. The parking is kinda crazy lol. My personal opinion would to be just include the regular $34 (cannot leave and come back) daily parking in the hotel fee or $58ish if you want to go in and out with your vehicle. Expect a deposit when you first arrive, around $250. They obviously give that back or subtract from what you owe (snacks, or fridge items.) there is room service but it's through a third party company down the road, Free breakfast though. Getting to the actual hotel part of the building was a little tricky for a small town dude, but the staff was super helpful when I called and asked how to get in lol. City view is pretty nice!

Very nice hotel. Clean and secure. Requires a security badge for entrance. Staff was very friendly, and view from room was lovely (even though it was foggy on our visit)

We had a nice stay here, very spacious room and bathroom. There were 4 adults and we had plenty of room in the Double Deluxe room that I booked. Check in was super easy, we were greeted by the worker at the main desk and they checked our name and told us how to get up to the top floor which is where the hotel is. We did not have any parking. Breakfast did not have a ton of choices but that is really the only thing we could complain about! We walked here from Soldier Field after a concert and had no issues at all. Would stay here again!

Our stay at the Buckingham Hotel was pleasant, with a room that offered a lovely city view. Finding the hotel was a bit challenging, and we had to call the front desk for directions, but the staff was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the gym and sauna were closed on weekends.
