NillThis past Easter weekend our family stayed at this establishment. Checked in with concierge received our key cards and immediately went to room to relax since we drove 5 hours straight. Once room door was open I immediately went to the restroom, I quickly noticed that someone already took a number 2 and I can assume they had an explosive bowel movement. I immediately pulled my pants up and called guest services. After a 5-6 minute wait on the room phone, a rep picked up. We were advised by front desk rep to come back down to swap out key cards. Waited in line for an additional 10 minutes. Once addressed from an available guest service rep we received another room. If you are wanting to have proper water pressure via shower/tub (never used the tub due to how dirty it was) or toilet this is not the place. There was no ice machine, no complementary cups in the room, no refrigerator to store personal items ( unless you wanted to purchase overly priced Dollar Tree items) no bathroom hand towels to dry your hands properly so we used the Kleenex tissues that were next to the bathroom faucet. Could not use bath towels/wash clothes due to the limited supply we were provided daily. The bath towels/wash cloths etc where extremely hard and rough so we literally just aired dried our bodies. For the price we paid for this hotel during our stay, I could personally say to another current or future guest, please beware. If it wasn’t for the location of this hotel, my family would have just left the premises immediately.

★★★★★I really like this hotel. Great, friendly staff that's always helpful. I liked the food a lot at Fire Lake inside the hotel. I had breakfast sent to my room and it came promptly. There's a Starbucks in the lobby which can also be sent to your room which I appreciated and utilized. They have a free printer in their business center which was useful for me to print documents. My one gripe is that they put a $150 hold per night on your card which felt steep to me. But ultimately an amazing stay and I'd definitely come again.

NillThe location of this hotel was perfect. However, when booking the room the pictures showed more windows and a bath tub. There was no bath tub in our room and the shower was absolutely terrible. There was very little water pressure and the design just ends up flooding the bathroom. The beds were decent and the room was clean. The fridge is non usable for personal items. The balcony was a great addition to enjoy the view. Do not pay their parking fees you can get it for a 1/3rd of the price on spothero

★★★★The Raddison Blu Aqua was very clean, sleek, and modern. Some things I enjoyed were the Starbucks inside the hotel, the underground pedway connection, Hassam (who was so very genuine and kind) who stood at the door ready to help at all times, and the smell…the smell of the hallways and rooms was so fresh! Not a fake deodorizing smell, but a really nice clean smell. The things that I did not care for were no usable refrigerator in the room and the lighting…the lighting was to set the mood (very low lamp light), but I wish there was more optional overhead lighting. Overall, I would give it a 9 out of 10.

NillI Had the ambassador suite for 2 nights and wasn’t anything ambassador about it. The lobby restaurant and bar areas were nice and I enjoyed them aesthetic wise. The room where I had all the problems TVs barely worked kept turning off randomly freezing. The bidet and toilet seat warmer didn’t work and the shower head wand didn’t work as well. Overall the hotel is nice and I enjoyed the aesthetic but I paid for the room and it didn’t live up to my expectations. Overall, my experience at the Radisson Blu Aqua hotel was disappointing due to the malfunctioning amenities. I expected much more for the price paid, and I hope they address these issues for future guests. I won’t be returning anytime soon.

NillRadisson Blu Aqua Hotel Chicago: A Mixed Bag of Cozy Comfort and Minor Annoyances My wife and I recently spent five nights at the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel in Chicago. Overall, our stay was a blend of comfortable aspects and a few notable drawbacks. The hotel's location is undoubtedly a strong point. Being within a short 200-meter radius of the Village Market subway station and various food options made exploring the city incredibly convenient. The proximity to a CVS pharmacy was also a definite plus for any last-minute needs. Furthermore, having a Starbucks in the lobby, open until 11 am, was a nice touch for our morning coffee runs. The lobby itself is quite attractive, creating a positive first impression. We were initially offered an upgrade to a top-floor room for an additional fee, which we declined. Thankfully, we were still accommodated on the 16th floor (the hotel has 18 floors) without any extra charge. Our king-size room was undeniably cozy, providing a comfortable space to unwind after a day of sightseeing. The view from the window, showcasing the surrounding high-rise buildings, was also quite nice. However, there were several areas where the hotel fell short. The amenities provided felt somewhat limited. We were only given one liter of complimentary water per day, which seemed insufficient for two people. Similarly, the provision of only three packs of coffee and no tea in the room was disappointing. The quality of the shampoo, conditioner, and moisturizer provided was also noticeably low. Noise was another significant issue. The air conditioning unit in our room was quite noisy, making it disruptive at times. Additionally, the room was not soundproof at all, with considerable noise bleeding in from the corridors. This lack of sound insulation impacted our ability to fully relax in our room. Finally, while the gym on the 3rd floor was a welcome addition, the limitations on basic in-room provisions detracted from the overall experience. In conclusion, the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel Chicago offers a fantastic location and cozy rooms with pleasant views. However, the limited complimentary amenities and significant noise issues prevent it from being a truly exceptional stay. It’s a decent option, especially for its convenience, but be prepared for potential noise disturbances and bring your own preferred toiletries and perhaps extra beverages.

NillWe stayed here last night and had a great stay! The room was beautiful and CLEAN. We were worried after reading the reviews on here but we didn’t have any of the problems that people are talking about. The front desk people were nice as well. The only downside is the crazy parking and having to pay $80 for valet parking.

NillWhere to start… when I called to get an early check in I spoke with Vanessa Bryan. She was absolutely amazing. Since arriving Jason, Fadl, and Shelli, and everyone I have dealt with have provided the same amazing service! The room is clean and nicely decorated. This was only a one night stop on the way to a wedding in Joliet, and I honestly don’t want to leave. I will definitely be back for a longer stay in the near future.
