Hotel rooms were pretty but crammed. Locations made it hard to get food so we had to uber every where but great for business meetings. Our room didn’t get service on one of the days and they claimed our DND sign was on the room which it wasn’t. It was a bummer after 12 hours of exploring city to not have our room serviced. I’d stay again if it was for business travel but for personal travel I’d look into another area for ease and convenience

I booked my stay at the LaSalle, as it was my first time staying here. When I arrived, I was met with issues with my room. I was put into 3 different rooms over the span of 2 days. The first time, my bathroom was dirty (hair in the shower and on the floors). The staff offered to switch me. When I was moved to the second room, the telephone was not working. Staff informed me that they wanted me to switch rooms because no one would be available to fix the phone until Monday. When I was moved to the third room, the TV was glitching and the room was missing a table, so I had no where to eat. Even when I checked out, a table was still not available in my room. The staff was excellent in terms of treating me kindly. Alexis at the front desk offered me several vouchers for my inconvenience (there was “allegedly” no better room to upgrade me to) and recommended things for me to do around Chicago. However, when I spoke with the General Manager regarding my experience and asked to have a night comped off of my stay for the hassle, he seemed to be disinterested in my concern, like I was being difficult. The hotel was beautiful, the food was decent, and the staff was (mostly) wonderful. However, I feel for the price that I spent, I was inconvenienced too many times. Unfortunately, I will NOT be staying at this hotel again in true future. At almost $1000 for two days, I could’ve spent my money at another high end hotel like the Four Seasons or Waldorf.

My sister and I booked at stay at The LaSalle Chicago because of the easy access to the Passport Agency located around the corner on Ida B. Wells. What I was not prepared for was the chic and absolute splendor of this property. The rooms are simply magnificent and the aura of old world glamour is firmly in place. The setting in the financial district adds another layer of sophistication and swankiness without being stuffy. Nestled in a very discreet part of downtown Chicago you will not be disappointed. Thank God for Joseph who is at the registration desk, with his knowledge and deep care for customer service made our experience even more memorable. This is truly the place to be. I can not wait for another visit.

Great option if you want to treat yourself to a quiet, relaxing and luxurious stay. Voted best new hotel last year. It’s located in the 21st floor of a historic building in Chicago’s financial district. Perfect on a weekend because the area is very calm and non-touristy compared to weekdays and the room rates are more affordable too. The room and bathroom are generously-sized and elegantly furnished. They offer a complimentary car service within a 3-mile radius if you don’t want to walk.

One of the best experiences at a hotel we’ve ever had. Rooms are wonderful, spacious, and extremely well maintained. Staff was fantastic and accommodating. Great location. Easy access to the city while being more quiet at night compared to somewhere like London house.

The overall hotel room, decor, and staff was pleasant. However, there were major issues with housekeeping. There were bleach stains on the bed, the towels were dirty, and we did not get the room serviced the first day even after calling. The second day they asked when we would like housekeeping to come and we said 10:00 a.m. The room was serviced at 3:00 p.m. This became an issue as we had virtual business meeting planned and had to find a quiet place to host that meeting. A part of a “luxury” experience includes all aspects of service from valet, to the front desk, to the bar and housekeeping. Sadly, dirty linens, absolutely no cleaning service on some days, late service on others, and missed turn down service when listed as an amenity, turns the luxury experience into something much less then.

We enjoyed our stay at the LaSalle. They have a very hospitable staff with a special mention to Nuri and Sergio for being especially friendly during our stay. Everything is nicely decorated and kept clean. We didn’t love how the restaurant and bar both automatically add a 3.5% up charge to your bill for “rising costs” which can be removed upon request. The charge was always removed when we asked, but it was a nuisance to have to ask for each bill to be modified. Our room had the most responsive HVAC system I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. The solid wood doors are great for blocking out all noise from the hallway, except the slamming of another nearby door. We were on the back side of the building, so I can’t speak to street noise. My only complaint is that we could hear a whoosh sound from the plumbing every time a neighboring toilet flushed. This was actually quite loud and was even noticeable with foam earplugs in.

If you care about Marriott points, dont stay here. I've stayed 2 times in the last 2 years and both time have had to make multiple attempts to get credited with points. On another note, the hotel is pretty nice. The gym is very underwhelming for the size of hotel.
