The Godfrey Hotel Chicago

Stayed here over the past weekend. The room was spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Great location near many restaurants. Our family had 2 queen beds and there was only one robe in the room. I would recommend them adding at least one more robe and slippers. The flooring in the room was cold to step on and it was too late to call down and asked for more slippers. We would definitely come back next time we come to Chicago!

I can’t say enough great things about the front desk staff at The Godfrey Hotel! From the moment I arrived, they went above and beyond to make my stay incredible. Even though I arrived early today, they accommodated me with such kindness and efficiency, ensuring I had a smooth check-in. Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality set the tone for my entire visit. In fact, my experience at The Godfrey—and the amazing people I encountered—are part of the reason I’m moving to this city! Chicago is lucky to have such wonderful individuals representing it. This hotel was nice, booked last min for a occasion. The hotel offers a rooftop but it closes very early on Sundays and the rooftop is one of the reasons we chose this hotel and we're unable to go to it closes at around 7p or 8pm This hotel doesn't have any other amenities that's interesting except fitness area, spa was closed and no swimming pool or food area. The room we had was a suite it was a nice size, kinda of dated need some updated furniture, bed was comfy and bathroom was spacious. The refrigerator didn't get very cold. The parking and valet was high at this hotel decided to park on the street, which was the best choice.

Views were amazing, great location and easy to get to. While some may say the parking is expensive, the velt service makes it worth it considering how hard it is to find parking in the area. Great restaurants around too. Valerie and Bradi made check in super easy and were so nice!

Whenever I encountered issues, like a delayed check-out, they actively sought solutions and handled everything smoothly. Their service made my stay truly enjoyable. I went a business trip with my boss and this hotel helps us sleep well! ||I found around 12 years ago, I was also here for a fashion show. The restaurant on the first floor is also nice. we went there three times for our dinner ||The front desk Simona and Lauran helped me a lot! They are very welcoming and nice. They helped me when I left my key at the room.||Love it and I will still choose The Godfrey when I go to Chicago again

My initial stay at the Godfrey Hotel was pleasant and enjoyable. When it came to checkout day I ran into a road block. Since I booked my stay using a third party extending my stay required me to check out and rebook a stay at the hotel. Me and my family enjoyed our room and wanted to keep it but the room type wasn't available at the time. When I checked out at the lobby I was met by Lauren and Simona who not only helped my family get checked back in to the hotel but helped us get the same type of room we booked before and with a better view. They made sure I was taken care of and that we got the service we were looking for.

The front desk agents Simona and Lauren provided top-tier customer service, accommodating my early check-in with ease. They went above and beyond by offering thoughtful recommendations for food and fellowship during Ramadan, making my experience truly welcoming and enjoyable. Highly recommend!
