Hyatt Place Chicago/River North

My stay at this hotel was wonderful, but what truly made the difference was the hospitality and kindness of María and Javier in the breakfast area. From the very first day, their service was exceptional—they were always attentive to every detail, ensuring that guests felt well taken care of. Their dedication and warmth made each morning start in the best possible way. Additionally, the rooms were spotless, very clean, and comfortable—perfect for resting after a long day. Without a doubt, this hotel stands out not only for its facilities but also for the excellent service provided by its staff. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend it!

We have stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and we had great experience here. Rooms are so clean and services are perfect. Maria was doing a great job and she is so friendly and spreading positive energy and she was working all the time without complaining. Javier was a good help as well. The front desk people ( the receptionists) were so helpful and explained everything to us when arrived. Definitely I will come back to this hotel when coming back and visit Chicago again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel where Jose checked us in, and I must say, his service was exceptional. From the moment I arrived, Jose greeted me with a warm and friendly smile, instantly making me feel welcome. His professionalism and attention to detail were apparent throughout my stay. Jose made the check-in process incredibly smooth and efficient. He was knowledgeable about the hotel amenities and the surrounding area, providing excellent recommendations for dining and local attractions. my family and me have stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and we had great experience here. Rooms were so clean and the beds were really soft. Maria was doing a great job and she is so friendly and really helpful! Javier was a good help as well.

We came here for my Bachelorette party. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. We loved the breakfast at Ema in the morning and the proximity to all things in the River North area. Would 100% return and appreciated having such a lovely stay.

I had an excellent breakfast experience at the Hyatt Place Chicago/River North. The food was truly delicious—fresh, well-prepared, and with a great variety to choose from. Everything I tried was flavorful and satisfying, making it one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had. But what made it even more special was the outstanding service. I was lucky to be helped by Santosi, who was absolutely perfect! She was incredibly kind, attentive, and made sure everything was just right. Her warm and friendly attitude made the morning feel even better.

The location of the hotel is lovely. The view of the city at night is glorious. The staff have been above and beyond in their helpfulness. (Actually I saw a lot of smiles.) I know a lot of people talk about the fire station nearby, and yes, we heard sirens, but it was no big deal. Two things I would suggest: recycling bins in the rooms and lobby and add USB plugs to the rooms. Thank you for making our time here so pleasant.

I love this hotel! The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. It is so convenient to have a good restaurant right in the hotel. There are a variety of breakfast options, including my favorite, scrambled eggs and bacon! I want to recognize the wonderful Santosi, who works at the restaurant and is particularly helpful and welcoming. Thank you.
