Baymont by Wyndham Rockford

I've stayed in many different hotels in Rockford over 15 years - Baymont is the best value for the dollar. Rooms and common spaces are clean and comfortable. Lots of families on a Saturday night yet our second-floor room was quiet. Well-lit sidewalk for several blocks down the street so safe and easy to take out dog at night. Breakfast buffet is especially good for chain hotel. Due to unexpected circumstances, we had to stay an extra night. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. Will return.

It was clean, free breakfast. Staff was nice. Close to restaurants and the casino. It was pretty noisy at night though. There were some rowdy guest near my room. I told the Front desk and they told them to quiet down. The pillows were really small but other than that it was great.

The reviews do not reflect its current renovation. Rooms have been recently renovated. Much nicer than expected. Great value. Breakfast was excellent including waffle maker and real bacon. Also They said upper rooms not used as often so I suggest upstairs.

No hot water in the shower but hot water in the tub and sink. Talked to front desk twice and was told they know it’s an issue. Management was rarely around. At check out the mgr said maintenance tried to fix it but my dnd sign was out. Lobby was dirty. Rooms are run down. Breakfast was sub par at best. I recommend going down the street and spending the extra money at Hilton.

This is a very clean hotel. Even my germaphobic daughters were impressed! There are nice little extras like ample Dove products, filtered water in the fitness center and a very vast breakfast offering, for free breakfast. Staff was very helpful. I highly recommend.

Excellent room at a good price. Check in and out was easy. Everyone was friendly. Room was clean and large. Good lighting in the sink area. I would definitely stay here again on our next trip in this area. Breakfast was typical morning breakfast.

This was a Great place to stay for the 4 nights my wife was there. The Hotel is very well kept, and the room was very nice for the price we paid. The breakfast room is great. 4 different days I had something different. Love the variety. If we have to back to the area again, we will definitely stay there.

If I could give this hotel 6 stars I would! Extremely clean in the room, so much so that even the grout and ceiling in the shower looked almost new. It was warm and rained all night, however our room stayed at our set 68 degrees and it didn’t get humid! The breakfast was amazing, and the service was even better. The hostesses were so professional and friendly, and they restocked everything within 30 seconds of them running out. As a bonus there’s gluten free waffle batter! I’m allergic to gluten, and this is the first time I’ve seen a hotel have gluten free waffle mix and a dedicated gluten free iron. And another thing! The whole place smelled so fresh and clean. Usually hotel hallways have an odd scent since they’re used so often, but not this one! If I were to make one negative comment, it’s that there aren’t a ton of seats in the breakfast area. We only went as a couple, but larger families might have a little more trouble finding a seat. If asked, I’m confident the friendly staff would make arrangements for large families.
