It’s very sad that the owners have just tried to paint over and remodel over the issues of this hotel. Bed bug infested rooms. Mold that was painted over. And to top it off having people write fake reviews on the new page. Please read into where you’re staying. The area is completely druggies and drunks. Crackheads always wandering the area. Housekeeping doesn’t clean properly. My sheets were not changed and stained. Don’t let a run down infested place fool you.

My husband and I visited Anderson Japanese Gardens and were too tired to drive back home, so we decided to stay at this property. It was definitely worth the money—comfortable, clean, and a great place to relax after a long day. We had a pleasant stay and would highly recommend it.

My 10 friends and I visited the Burpee Museum in Rockford and booked five rooms at Super 8 Rockford South. The rooms were clean and fresh, and the staff went above and beyond to assist us. We had a great stay and truly appreciated their hospitality. Highly recommended!
