Staybridge Suites Chicago O'Hare - Rosemont by IHG

The hotel was easy to get to! Check in was very easy and checkout was very easy. I was taking a flight to the Philippines so when I checked in, I requested a shuttle time and the lady said it was no problem at all and scheduled my shuttle for Sunday at 1! The outside and inside appearance of the hotel was excellent! My room was super clean. The bathroom had all the amenities I like king size beds, and mine was very comfortable! With the airport just a short distance away outside plane noise you could not hear any problems at all! The front desk did recognize my status at check-in and I was offered amenity points! I had a boarding pass sent to my email and I called down to the front desk and spoke with the young lady and asked if she could print a copy off for me so I could pick it up at checkout! She was very courteous and said yes it would be down there at the front desk and just to pick it up when I brought my luggage and everything down to take the shuttle! The breakfast was amazing and it was all you could eat, and the staff were very very nice! I do plan on flying in and out of O’Hare and I do plan on staying at the Staybridge every time! I was very pleased with my stay at Staybridge!

My flight was unexpectedly cancelled due to poor weather at O'Hare. This was one of the first hotels that came up with free shuttle and a good rate, so I booked this hotel. The hotel is in the same building as the airport Holiday Inn, very newly remodeled and clean. I had an airport facing view and it was fun to watch the planes take off and land. The shuttle was also very clean and the driver was friendly. I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast before departing on the re-booked flight the next day. Overall, excellent stay, I would stay again if I have business in the O'Hare area. I just wished I had cash to tip the driver of the shuttle and the hotel staff, just wasn't expecting to have to spend the night.

I was totally blown away by the value of what I paid with what was offered/included! Staybridge Suite doubles with Holiday Inn. Very appreciatively, I was upgraded to a beautiful two story suite on the top floor. Although they are working on some construction in the lobby area, the pool, gym, lounge and restaurant were open. The shuttle was convenient getting to and from the airport/train station for the Blue Line into the city. Front desk staff are so friendly and helpful, holding my luggage after check out for a couple extra hours. Having a breakfast buffet is always a plus even though I only had the chance to drop in to grab and go. Points of improvement would be to add more instructions for the shuttle in the Airbnb posting, I had to message and call in to the hotel for more information. Also my flight was canceled but after reaching out to the “host” via the app messaging they told me they’d be unable to schedule to next day even with open availability. Luckily I was able to get on another just in time. Overall 5+ stars!!!

Pros: - The location is excellent—very close to the airport, making it convenient for travelers. - The rooms were clean and well-maintained, which made for a comfortable stay. - The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any needs. - The breakfast was great, with a good variety of options to start the day right. Cons: - Parking is $18, but as other reviewers have mentioned, the gate is often open, so some guests can park without paying. - They advertise EV charging, but it's not free. If you have a Tesla, you're better off going across the street to the Supercharger—it’s cheaper and less of a hassle. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a stay near the airport, especially if you value cleanliness, friendly service, and a good breakfast. Just be mindful of the extra parking and EV charging costs.

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were comfy and spacious. The check-in and parking was easy. The staff was extremely friendly, and accommodating. Although the restaurant/bar closes a little early, the food and drinks were great! We stayed here mostly for the location, due to having an early flight, and it was super close to the airport, making things convenient for us. We would definitely stay here again.

All of the staff here is AMAZING! They always take such good care of us here as crew. I always try to stay here when I can. I can say we’ve had so many memorable staff members here, unfortunately I don’t have all of their names, but the ones I was able to get were Lina, Chyna, Vira, and our lovely shuttle driver, Mark for my most recent stay. Again everyone here does an amazing job. Never had a bad experience. Rooms are great - always clean, comfortable, & quiet. Love the fact that we have kitchens in the room with a full size fridge/freezer. It’s great for those that are always traveling and need a place to cook or keep items cold. The breakfast is great for a hotel breakfast! The restaurant in the lobby is amazing. Shuttle is always on time and reliable. Can’t say enough great things about this place! It’s my new favorite hotel in Chicago.

The only downside is the location but it is convenient to Ohare. This is the first hotel that actually honored my request for a fragrance free room. Traveling is rough on my aging body and toxic chemical scents are debilitating to me. Also, the windows opened! The only negative was the view of the roof below included trash and a used diaper some idiot must’ve tossed out there window. I was in 513. Every employee was personable and helpful. Steven from Social hour and QQ the shuttle driver were exceptional. The front desk ladies were efficient and helpful. Unfortunately I can’t remember their names. I am an IHG member but was not recognized.

We stayed in the Penthouse, and honestly, it was amazing. There was so much space, and having 1 ½ bathrooms was super convenient. The kitchen had everything we needed—a medium fridge, stove, microwave, and even pots, pans, and silverware for cooking. The only thing I wish was different was the TV setup. I tried to hook up my phone to the TV, but it wasn’t an option, which was a bit of a letdown. The breakfast selection was awesome, and I loved that it was available from 7 am to 10:30 am. There are also plenty of places to shop nearby, like the Rosemont outlets, and a Target just around the corner for anything last-minute. All in all, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely stay here again.
