Sonesta Chicago O'Hare Airport Rosemont

Stayed here for a few nights with friends - very good value! The room was spacious and clean, and the kitchenette was super useful for our stay. Bed was comfortable. My only complaint is I wish there were more than two pillows per bed, and instead of a duvet, they have a comforter between two sheets, so things got tangled up easily. There's a restaurant downstairs we didn't visit, but we did use the well-stocked mini market several times. There's also a free airport shuttle and it's walking distance to the airport tram. Nice service too and helpful staff.

What a great discovery for our flights in and out of Chicago O'Hare airport! Our stay included using the parking garage facilities, which provided great convenience and security. The hotel is located very close to O'Hare, and the airport shuttle is a short ride to and from the airport. The employees and staff are very engaging and helpful.|Our room was very clean, comfortable and the layout was very creative - with two double beds in two rooms - offering a bit more privacy if needed. Both bedrooms had updated TV's, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The one room had a sink and faucet, as well as a counter, small refridge and microwave, along with a Keurig coffee maker. Another amazing "value added" attraction is "Harry Caray's Italian Restaurant", which is easily accessible from the hotel lobby. It offered a unique and convenient dining experience.|This was our first stay at the Sonesta, and it won't be our last. It truly offered a much more relaxed travel experience flying in and out of O'Hare. We'll be back!

Room was clean. Staff were pleasant . Key card restricts you to the floor you’re assigned for safety . Ice machine on 3rd floor did not work. They did send a maintenance person to fix it. Room was quite warm over night. Restaurant in hotel was pricey. Food was tasty and cooked as requested. Room rate does allow you to keep your car parked in their lot while you travel.

It was a rough morning-- we missed our connecting flight and were forced to hunker down for a day. But RICARDO our fantastic shuttle driver from the hotel put us in a great mood and even pointed out local attractions (Portillos!). Ricardo was great! And ATHENA checked us in (EARLY!). She was extremely nice and efficient. Loved our room-- great views of the airport with planes landing. It was clean and quiet it even had two mini-rooms! The lobby has free coffee snacks for sale. I would stay here again.

Very reliable shuttle service. The drivers were friendly and helpful, especially Ricardo.||However, the hotel plumbing needs improved maintenance. The sink in our initial room was completely backed up. We had no problem changing rooms, but in the second one, the bathtub drain was very slow. Our feet were in several inches of water by the end of a (relatively short) shower. ||On the positive side, the bed was very comfortable and the room impeccably clean.

I’m a flight attendant who stays here regularly. The number one thing I look forward to EVERY TIME is Ricardo, the morning shuttle driver. He is always friendly, helpful and will get a smile on your face no matter how tired and grumpy you are or how early it is. He is consistently enthusiastic, helpful and ALWAYS ON TIME. |||The hotel itself is okay. I’ve experienced weird smelling rooms and they quickly switched me. I do tend to walk barefoot in my rooms (I know, I know) but the carpet in is hard and so uncomfortable. They don’t give water in the rooms but you can ask for it at the desk. ||It’s walking distance to Panera, McDonalds, First Watch, Target, Ross, IHOP and a pretty good Mexican spot. ||This is definitely more of a business hotel than a family friendly stay. Perfect for a good nights sleep before an early flight.

Holiday international travel with delayed and cancelled flights is so stressful! I ended up at this hotel courtesy of American Airlines due to cancellations. The hotel itself is comfortable and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The reason I'm leaving this review is for the airport shuttle driver, Ricardo!! Being greeted with a big smile and enthusiasm really sets the tone for the day, especially when you're on day 3 of traveling. He waited for me to grab my bags with the cart from my room, gave us a great tour on the way to the airport, and brought us all to the correct terminal to expedite our check-in process. The check-in attendant commented on my cheerful disposition considering my travel experience on this trip, and I had to tell her it was all thanks to Ricardo starting my morning off with a smile! Thanks Ricardo! People like you are what companies should cherish the most!

I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience with Ricardo, the shuttle bus driver who assisted my two sons and me this past December. From our hotel to the airport terminal, Ricardo provided exemplary service that truly exceeded our expectations.||Not only did Ricardo handle our notably large and heavy luggage with ease, but he also managed a huge baby car seat, ensuring everything was transported safely and efficiently. He went above and beyond by not only loading our bags but also escorting them right up to the check-in point inside the terminal. His professionalism shone through in every action, maintaining a positive demeanour throughout, without a hint of complaint.||Ricardo's attention to detail and the extra effort he put into serving us did not go unnoticed. It's this level of service that makes a trip smooth and stress-free.
