★★★No reliable shuttle service to airport. Had to pay cab fare to get to airport which significantly increased the expected cost of parking. We were told we would be reimbursed for the cab fare, but the manager would not do this. We felt that the free shuttle service was misrepresented in the description.

NillTurned up here after booking on Booking.com only to find out that the hotel was closed indefinitely due to storm damage. Two others turned up a few mins later having booked with Expedia who experienced the same issue. The staff there didn't really provide much information or help to try and get us into a different hotel (despite there being multiple other best westerns in the Chicago area). The hotel claims they informed the websites that they were closed, so it was their fault for not informing us. However, shortly after arriving there and the receptionist found our booking on the system, I suddenly got a message from the hotel via booking.com informing me that my booking had been cancelled. If they could have triggered this message all this time, could they not have done it sooner? Because of this, I don't really trust this hotel at all. It feels like they just couldn't be bothered to notify the customers themselves even if they can see our bookings on their end. A truly awful start to a short break away after 24 hours of travelling.

NillReserved a Smoke Free Room, upon checking in and opening the door, the room smelled like a giant cigarette ash tray. My bag and the clothes I wore smelled like cigarettes from being there alone. The TV remote was missing a battery so I couldn't even use the TV. Paid $143 for the night but I believe it was only worth $80-100 at best. Only convenience about staying there was that it's a 7 minute drive from Chicago O'Hare Airport.

NillDoes the job, but nothing more. Staff are friendly and reasonable. Room was clean, but the fridge did not work. You can see the attached pictures for an overview of what my room looked like. The bed was clean, no bedbugs. The entire floor and my room smelled like insecticide or some other air freshener, and it was a bit overpowering. When I stayed, the main elevator close to the lobby was broken, so I had to use what appeared to be the secondary elevator which was a bit sketchy (the buttons did not light up and the whole car jerked at every movement). The airport shuttle was great! You simply call the hotel when you need to be picked up, but the van is usually already doing its rounds and comes about every 30 minutes from either Terminal 5/2 Door E. To get to the airport, you need to be downstairs and ready to go 30 min before you want to leave in case the shuttle is already out and about. My departing flight was at 7:30 am, so I got a shuttle at 4:45 am and was the only one on the van. Overall, I can recommend this hotel for a quick airport stay. It’s cheap and convenient.

NillThe front desk guy is an extremely rude person and has no clue on what customer centricity is. I don't know how he ended up in such job with such a nasty attitude. On October 1st I missed my connecting flight in Chicago and was stranded. I booked this hotel on Priceline around 9:20pm and we talked and he told me the shuttle bus runs until 11pm. I received confirmation of the booking from Priceline. I waited for the shuttle bus for over an hour outside in the cold and when I didn't see their bus show up like other hotels did I decided to call and he was like you should have called them and I said I didn't know I was supposed to call to schedule a ride. He told me driver will come get me at 11pm. At 10: 40 I got a call from the driver that his 15 minutes away and to wait for him at gate 2c. 20 minutes went by no show so I called him and he said I was advised not to come get you and that I should call the hotel. I called and the rude guy was like ya we're fully booked and said to call Priceline and just hanged up the phone on me. This individual showed absolutely zero empathy for making me wait for almost two hours outside in the cold, no explanation to me or whatsoever, no courtesy call to say we're fully booked so I can find another hotel. The money I paid is still not refunded to me.I am someone's child and a human being like you and I don't deserve the way you treated me. You left me stranded in the cold at almost 12am with nowhere to go and that caused me a severe physical and emotional stress and pain. I pray that karma will catch up with you someday and that you'll find yourself in such situation and be treated worse than you treated me.

NillOfficially stayed here twice for concerts. Txt and ateez! Rooms were good both times. Except a large sticky spot on the carpet- almost like wax? Beds and bathrooms clean. First room, the outer layer of glass on the window was shattered?? But that's just an appearance issue! AC slaps hard! Asked for extra towels and had no issues! Breakfast was a lil low around 8am but we asked for eggs and they had no issues whipping it up quickly! Check in Staff are a bit intimidating to walk up to, a bit of a neutral face. The RBF is strong. But once they talk, super super nice! As a whole staff is friendly every time.

NillThere was a small amount of confusion right away where the shuttle was going to pick us up at O'Hare, but we quickly got that resolved (if flying domestic go to door 2E on the first floor of the airport). Once we arrived we had friendly staff and a clean room after a long day of travel. The complimentary breakfast was good and there was no hassle for a late check out. Good experience at a very good price.

NillWe stayed here for one night and had an early morning flight. We had two rooms, they were clean and the beds were comfortable. Our experience from check in to check out was great. everyone was friendly and helpful. The airport shuttle is 24 hours. They let us know to be in the lobby 15 minutes before the time you want to leave. Our party had a great experience.
