This was my second time staying here. The rooms are ok. I can ignore cosmetic imperfections. The place is not exactly disabled friendly. They don't have a button on the front door to open it if you can't, and there is no intercom to call someone either. Secondly, the room that I was in did have a walk-in shower, but there is no hose, just the shower head on the wall. Not exactly disabled-friendly either. Disability takes different forms, js Third, the toilet paper roll holder is behind your right arm far back on the wall towards the corner, making it very difficult to reach while you are on the throne. Lastly, I was here for 2 nights this time. I had no reason to think that housekeeping would come in after 1 night, because the sign at the front desk says that housekeeping will come into your room if you have a reservation for 3 nights, and when I stayed here last time, I stayed for 3 nights. I asked about it at the front desk. Then, the front desk clerk told me that they will at least collect the trash after 2 nights, which I could leave outside my door if I liked. I complied. I came back to my room after an exhausting day, and found that someone had been in my room. I was so horrified. I left things out that I would be embarrassed for anyone else to see, I can't say enough that I felt so invaded and exposed, with my undergarment laying out and my suitcase open and unlocked, for starters. It felt like they just came into my room to snoop. I never expected nor asked for them to come in and change out my stuff, and after a looong day at a wedding, I was in a lot of pain and just wanted to lie down. I was SO EMBARRASED and felt SO INVADED. When I went to the front desk to say something to someone, I was told that the lady from housekeeping told the front desk clerk that she only changed the pillow cases. Why, after one night, with just me, do I need new linens and towels? Why make the bed after 1 night? She left 2 more bars of soap, for just me, after 1 night? It's very sus. I have recommended the place to others, but now...No. I no longer like this place, at all

So, hubby is wheelchair bound (paralyzed), and we've learned to visually check rooms before we actually finish the check in process. This room would've been great EXCEPT that we had a third adult in the room with us, she used the pullout couch-bed near the window. There is NO SPACE for a normal sized person to get from the far side of the bed once that couch is pulled out!!! I didn't realize this when I did our pre-check. Another drawback was that there were NO SHEETS, pillow nor blanket provided for the pull-out, we had to get them from the front desk staff who treated my daughter like a criminal for asking for extra pillows (read on). When we made the pullout bed, we found that the part under the mattress (stretches from side to side on the metal frame--the mattress sits on this) was wrecked at the foot-end!! And there was about 1/4-cup of food CRUMBS & lint when we removed the cushions to make the bed--gross!! Additionally the only pillows provided on the big bed were about 14x14 inches (the kind you'd have on your couch for a throw pillow). How is that okay? The bathroom was fine, great for accommodating a wheelchair user. Breakfast bar was virtually non-existent (bagels, cereal, coffee, juice). Disappointing--though we knew when we booked. Still. But do better in the room arrangement, sheets and customer service, and pillow situation.

Great place to spend the night on the road. If you are looking for a reasonably priced place to sleep for the night this is great. Beds were very comfortable water pressure was great. No complaints for a one night place to sleep.

Positive: Location was great Negative: The cigarette smell is overwhelming. It woke me up in the middle of the night it got so bad. I do not think it is just an old smell in the building. It is so bad it had to be someone smoking heavily in the building especially at night.

Was told I could pay cash for deposit. Upon arrival I was told I didn't have to pay deposit because I lived out of range for their 150.00 deposit. I was told I needed to run my card for 10.00 for incidentals. When I woke up the next morning, there was a deduction, not a hold, a deduction in the amount of 150.00. I had to wait a week to get money that should have not been taken from me to be REFUNDED back to my account. From someone who stays in hotels very often, this should have never happened. Poor customer service, poor management. Will not be staying there ever again. I didn't even receive an apology from the manager who also manages their sister hotel, the comfort inn there in Urbana. Good Luck if you dare take the risk

The location is definitely great for the price. It's just a place to crash basically, and the breakfast is very simple bagel , toast, cereal, coffee , tea, juice. Morning staff phenomenal and informative Night staff don't really answer the questions. Unfortunately for us there was a roach in our room. We killed it but kind left the family feeling off, but we only stayed the day. The town itself is beautiful.

Positive: "" Negative: The refrigerator didn't work correctly; the door had to be slammed really hard to get shut. The regulator dial inside of it was missing. Loveseat arm was torn & worn.

Had a less than pleasurable experience in general but I wasn’t going to leave a review until now. The hotel is dusty for the price and it’s shady. I got charged the full amount for my stay upon checking in and was told due to a clerical error they had to charge me for another night. I told the general manager personally that this wouldn’t happen as a clerical error is not my issue and affirmed that they did not have the authorization to do this. After mishandling my funds the first time, I wake up to another charge on my card that I already refused and did not authorize. Notified my bank immediately of this theft, do not stay here.
