Quality Inn Arkansas City - KS

The breakfast bar ran out of both juice and waffle mix. When we brought it up to them the guy just said "it's just slow" and had to physically try it for himself before adding batter. The webpage says it has a pool but when we got there it was obvious it hasn't been open for a very long time but no mention of it being closed on their website. The cleaning staff were so kind and helpful.

Drove 6 hours for a family function checked into this hotel around midnight. Website says there is a bar and an indoor pool. We get there, no bar and the pool is empty. No big deal, it's late oh well. Go to turn on the tv and a roach crawls across the TV stand!! Checked out after not even being there 5 minutes. Immediately went to the front desk to tell them we aren't staying in a roach infested hotel and we want to check out and get a refund. He says "we don't have roaches here" and wanted to come see it?! Like I was lying and we wanted to check in and Immediately checkout. 🤦‍♀️

At first I was shocked at how old and outdated everything was but my husband enjoyed it and called it retro. The atrium was a cool scene but the pool was shut down. You could only utilize the games and pool table until 9 pm. Our rooms were very clean but as a leasing agent, I could see where there are damages that need to be fixed soon. The front desk receptionist was pretty cool and helpful. Super nice guy. The breakfast was actually great. It was self serve waffles and bagels. It was shut down by 10. However, my room keys were disabled by 10:30 and the housekeeper started cleaning one of our rooms by 10 before we ever checked out. Check out is 11. Which didn’t give me enough time to clean what needed to be picked up off the floor. When I was packing my car up from my second room the house keeper rolled her eyes at me and made a huge sigh to let me know she was annoyed at the state of the room. Which wasn’t all that bad. I checked her and told her we haven’t even checked out yet. I reported her to the front desk and left my second room as it was. The front desk just said they would talk to her but didn’t apologize for her behavior. It just didn’t seem all that important. I will not return. The location is just a small town so there isn’t much there. The price was more expensive then the home away suites I stayed in in another town. By $20 a room.

Very old and outdated, BUT our room was clean! Bed and pillows kinda hard but the worst part was from midnight on we heard nonstop banging doors, loud music, people yelling, stomping above us. This went on until around 4am. Horrible experience! Told the front desk guy the next day and just got a blank stare. I think it’s an extended stay place for people that have no housing possibly. We won’t be back!!!

Positive: Location is great, staff were polite and professional. Room was well appointed, quite, clean and comfortable. Price was excellent. Breakfast was typical for this level of hotel, heavy on carbs, but fresh fruit, yogurt, and the coffee was excellent. Negative: Several negative reviews about the pool and hot tub being closed. If you want to amuse children check into a Great Wolf Lodge.

Booked this hotel for the pool we check in and the pool is shut down unable to give a refund. The beds are hard and everything is very outdated.

This is the worst place we have ever been. Went in guess what no reservation I made it in sep so after 20 minutes arguing THEY FOUND IT. Said it was a 3rd party booking not there problem it was terrible. We will get into room problem in a moment Day 2. I had booked a room for my kids. Under me so when I went to get the key. HERE WE GO AGAIN. They could not find it gave the reservation # can't find it. ..... back to room look all unfo up.....back to desk. Showed then the bank records where I paid. Copy of the things they sent me they still can't find any thing... we argue. I ask for his name he paused and said. Eric his name tag was upside down when I tried to read it he takes off it was longer than 4 letters so he lied. About came unglued about my camers and went behind a wall to hide he lied ..... So I ...went back to room called priceline they find it and call place.. so I go back up again...... now Manger is there. We argue again because I don't have the ID of person staying in room.. she's not there and wanted to have what was needed so would not have go to war again. Called them jerks and a few other things and went back to room...Told hubby let's leave I can't take any more of this place.. We start packing.. then get a knock on door...they called the COPS. I told the officer what was going on and said we are packing to leave.. they then left... Of. The room felt like we were sleeping on the floor. Pillows like rocks. Hot as H when we went in... coffee machine not working...Key had issues someone else let us in. Bathroom was dirty a tile above shower was out if place looked strange we did not shower. ..Tp was hard and from recycled paper.. . I could go on and on about this nasty terrible place. The supper RUDE front desk... things they have on web site are false... the pool not available the breakfast was not what promises hard dropped out bread toaster no work. Had cheap 2% milk not even the good stuff muffins were stale no apple juice only orange not everyone can drink that. Waffle batter was stale. Margin no butter. Apple had bad spots rotten. The full breakfast the brag about it's not even a snack. To top this all off I brought my dogs they are small they charged me 15 each on them. Per day. They are pad trained when we left. I did not pick them up normally we would nope they can do it.they did not care that 2 are medical alert they charged anyways I DO NOT TRUST them at all I canceled my card so they can not charge anymore on it. We did not get key for room they did not refund they stole it. Priceline is no help they did not refund any thing. Said to take it up with them which said it's a third party they don't have it. All in all I know I don't have it. Will hover use priceline again And yes I have photos and videos Don't stay there. I'm not the only one that had problems this weekend Find some where else RUDE, nasty, liers, terrible Terrible place If you find missed spelled words sorry
