Very welcoming environment! the room was clean to a certain extent AC vent had a bit of cobwebs on them but it’s okay, the window also almost fell on me while I tried to open the curtains, there was also a huge gap on the door so that people can check up on us while we sleep! how thoughtful. I also slept really well at this hotel there was definitely some instances that cops came and yelled at some kids smoking weed but people makes mistakes and that is okay. Overall this hotel is the best place to stay!

This hotel worked well for my wife and I. Great price, and close by the airport. We got the “premium suite” so we could have access to the big tub to relax after a long travel day. The king bed was comfortable, and rooms were clean if a little worn. Lots of space for luggage and extra people. A few notes to improve: 1. I found the dining area to be very dark, especially at night. I had to move standing lamps around to accommodate. 2. The bathroom shower drained slower than the full tub in the suite. 3. The window screen in the main area was missing.

Positive: The evening and morning staff were kind, helpful, respectful. The breakfast was surprisingly nice and offered many choices. Our bathroom was clean. TV remotes were very confusing - no directions anywhere. Negative: The floors everywhere needed sweeping, from the entry to the lobby to the room. The vinyl planking was pretty but cold and loud. Walls were thin, easy to hear folks in other rooms. Overnight desk person was opinionated, even rude. The halls were smelly

Guy behind the counter was very nice, checking in was easy and the rooms were great. Bed was comfortable, pillows a little hard at first but after 10 minutes they seemed to get softer. Only qualm is the location is a bit of a ways outside of Duluth, but it’s right across from the airport if you’re traveling. They even have a little arcade for kids.

I would not recommend staying here. We checked in, everything was normal or so we thought. Right as we were checking in another guest had came down to tell the front desk that they were given a room someone was already clearly already in and had stuff in the room (red flag number 1.) We should’ve turned around and left then, because we had to go through 2 rooms to finally find a 3rd room that was acceptable to stay in. First room, the A/C was super loud and sounded like there was something wrong with it, asked the front desk to get a second room which he did move us, thought we would be fine until we go into the room and see scuffs on the wall, another loud air conditioner, and the worst part of all the corner chair had white stains all over it… 🤢 (picture attached). I find that absolutely unacceptable, it’s like nobody had bothered to inspect the room and either clean that or replace the cushion. After some more explaining we had gotten a third room which was seemingly okay, even though there were a past guests socks underneath the suitcase holder, which one of maids must have not seen… but that must be a common occurrence (especially with the chairs as well). Overall, The whole place had a very unclean feel to it and it really made me wonder what else has gone unnoticed there. After my stay, I contacted choice hotels corporate and they said they were unable to provide a full refund, but I would say it should be well justified. I would not recommend staying here unless you like to sit down on crunchy stained chairs, sleep on the worst mattresses ever, and find other people’s old left sock on the floor of your “supposedly clean” hotel.

I am now having priblem getting prepaid refunds for Dec 15, 2024 and another April 1, 2025. I am not asking for the nite I did not stay just the next two I booked coming up .. due to safety I can not feel good there. |This is what happened|Driving up to hotel I witnessed a man crawling into a window on 1st floor! Lobby and hotel clean but I felt unsafe at this point & told the staff. I left shortly after & went to a Wyndym. I contacted customer service Corporate as I have two other reservations due to traveling. I explained my experience & asked for a refund on the next two stays.. not the one today... I figured my fault for trusting Choice. Choice told me I had to contact hotel & see if they would cancel because I had a special rate non cancel or refundable... even for one of their hotels where the customer saw a man crawling into a window of the hotel! I am out the $$ for it all but good news.. Choice Hotels has lost my business.|Rooms1.0Service1.0Location1.0

Location was great, but that was the only positive thing we experienced. For being non smoking it sure smelt like a dispensary the entire time we were there so we spent as little time as possible in the hotel itself. Back door was broken so not secured. Tried to find someplace else night 1 but everything else was booked. Cheap rate but next time I will spend the extra money!!

We had a horrible 2 night stay here. Pounding from them remodeling from 8:15am to 7:15pm. Barking dog in another room. Smoky hallway. We informed staff but nothing was done. Customer service and hospitality is almost non existent. It's not worth the cheaper price. I called Choice Hotels who sponsors them for a refund. We will see what they do to resolve this. I have never had a negative hotel experience like this. I'm very disappointed and would not recommend you stay here. We won't be.
