Bar N Ranch

Bar N Ranch was a peaceful, relaxing place to stay. We enjoyed the fireplace, food and staff. We also enjoyed the nightly outdoor fires and the S’mores made us feel young again! Personally we felt the wildlife at the Ranch was a better experience than with the crowds at Yellowstone Park. We think we liked our spring trip better than the fall, but either way, Bar N ranch was the blight of our trip!

Definitely recommend going to The Bar N Ranch restaurant if you’re staying there or at Under Canvas West Yellowstone! Although a bit pricey, the food and cocktails were delicious. Our waiter Kyle was super nice and even recommended a hike based on one of our drinks we ordered. Worth the splurge for a nice dinner here!

It was ok, but definitely not worth the price. The bathrooms are very outdated. The jet tub is nothing to “write home about”. The rooms do not have controls for the A/C or heat so it got pretty stuffy for us. The fan helped some. The restaurant was not inside the lodge, but a short walk. The views were not the best because the canvas tents kind of took away from the photo opportunities. It was not far from town. I don’t think we would stay here again, but that’s just our opinion.

Our stay here was amazing. The views, the staff, the food, and especially Rons cooking and Huckleberry jam!! This was one of the best experiences I’ve had and will likely return!

We stayed here for two nights. It's a charming place to stay in a lovely, peaceful location and we liked our room that also had a wrap-around deck. The people who work here are very nice and the restaurant had very good food - we had a couple of dinners and breakfasts here. There are some nice amenities like the pool and the free s'mores etc. There was a ceiling fan in the room and also a fireplace. Overall, I thought it was a very cute, peaceful and comfortable place. I would be happy to stay here again in the future.

This place could not have been any better! It is absolutely beautiful inside the lodge and the room was very clean when we arrived. The area surrounding the lodge is just beautiful! The staff are beyond friendly and have awesome customer service. They are always willing the help out and make recommendations as to activities and where to go. Christian at the desk even offered to let us use his fishing rod. Cannot remember other names but the staff were all so helpful! We loved the restaurant on site as well. Beautiful river in walking distance for fishing. S’mores at the campfires are a must. Will definitely be coming back! :) 10/10 Also only ten minutes from West entrance of Yellowstone and downtown!

This little gem is a fantastic place to stay. We’ve rented cabins there twice now and both times it’s been a wonderful experience. The cabins are very well appointed, the staff is very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is extremely relaxed. The views of the surrounding meadows and mountains are stunning. The ranch also has a very nice restaurant and bar on the premises if you don’t want to go into town for a meal. The Bar N is located about 5 miles due west of the town of West Yellowstone, which sits at the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park. This combination makes it extremely easy to spend a week doing as much as you want without getting bored and you still won’t have scratched the surface of what this place has to offer. Go souvenir shopping, go to a rodeo, go kayaking or rent a boat on Hebgen lake (A gorgeous lake!) or spend days in Yellowstone National Park seeing things that will take your breath away. The Bar N Ranch gives you access to all of this and more. It’s a destination you won’t forget and will always speak of fondly. I’ve travelled a lot and highly recommend this place. If you like great, open spaces in the mountains, you will too.

Great experience at the Bar-N-Ranch. The overall ambience of the Lodge was beyond our expectations. The rooms were clean and up to date with the appropriate amenities. Front desk personnel were very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate you and answer any questions you may have about the surrounding territory. The restaurant waitstaff, bartender were also very friendly and the food was very good as well. Great location with Great people. We would definitely stay here again.
