NillThis place is really neat with all the beautiful lodge style wood furniture, rustic vibes, wildlife statues (taxidermy), the stairway inside is amazing to see when walking in with the stone fireplace.. etc.. the bed we got was really fluffy & comfy. Huge room with big tile shower. It had all the amenities (in rooms: mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot. In building: ice machines & vending machines, laundry room, pool, sauna). The main dislike is the mini fridge crapped out before we arrived unbeknownst to us & we lost all our breakfast stuff we bought at various stores & restaurants that we were saving for the next morning for on the go to work! The hotel breakfast is not much to shake a stick at.. It's mostly breads, sugary pastries, sugary instant oatmeal, sugary cereal, waffles with sugary syrup... coffee, tea, juice, milk, water.. The usual, like most all cheaper hotels serve.. It could be better with hot meals like fresh (not powdered) eggs, breakfast meats (non-pork kinds too!), more fruits & veggies for healthier options.. Like breakfast burritos bar, eggs, veggies & potatoes options, etc... This would make every customer happier with healthier, more fulfilling options to start their days with! 😊 High hopes that you get your restaurant & lounge back up to date & running soon! If it were my hotel, I'd welcome volunteer small live bands to come play too for entertainment & a jukebox with a wide variety of family-friendly music in the restaurant area & more in the lounge area. Have a chef make southern/ old school mountain meals, etc.. Something unlike other places, but better! Options always please many customers! Maybe some Stage Coach Inn & Yellowstone, MT souvenirs too. (Mugs/ shirts/ hats/ keychains/ magnets/ scenic & wildlife calendars, etc..)

NillMy 5 Star review is due to my appreciation to the front desk and maintenance personnel for going out of their way to fix the heating unit "after hours" which truly saved our trip. We had not been able to rest well elsewhere, and after a very challenging day snowmobiling through the Park in white-out conditions, and two more snowmobiling days ahead, well, we really needed to enjoy a warm, quiet clean place to stay. We didn't need frills-just basic rest and the Stage Coach Inn came through. Thank you again so very, very much, and I hope you had a chance to enjoy the rest of your evening off, somehow. Beth,

NillAs soon as we walked in, we were greeted nicely. Check-in was quick and easy. The room itself was very clean, the beds were not the worst, and the hot water heater for showering is excellent. Great location, around several other stores and the park itself. The complimentary breakfast is ok, but overall I'd stay here again.

★★★Pros: location of this hotel. The lobby ambience is wonderful. Our room was okay but not as updated as it could be. Sheets were rough and pillows were small. Big stain on the ceiling from a leak. |Cons: Pricey for what you get. Breakfast was sparsely appointed. The staff person was rude and seemed bothered to be there. There were two sets of salt and pepper shakers to be shared between all of us. The former restaurant and bar in the hotel have closed. This hotel seems to be making an effort to try and stay open but there are signs it may be struggling as evidenced by our breakfast experience and other things we saw.| Lastly, I have an issue with hotels that are showing Fox News in their public spaces given the current political climate. I asked that they turn the channel to something lighter (sports, home improvement, lifestyle) but the lady at the front desk said they were required to have a news channel on. Fox News is on record as being an entertainment channel-not a news channel. Her tone changed at this point and she stated that all media lies. We won’t be back to this hotel given that it seems to be slowly deteriorating and that some of its staff need to improve their customer service skills. Would have loved to have stayed there when it was in its glory.

★★★★★A hotel full of the western vibe, and right in town. Very walkable and very close to the western entrance of Yellowstone. Good parking, even though in town, nice large rooms. Breakfast was good, with hot dishes, waffles, toast, muffins, etc etc. The hotel is well-loved, but not shabby. I wouldn't call the walls thin, but the noise from the plumbing/water pipes as the neighbors took showers (at 6:30 am!!) was very loud. Also the hotel is quite big, our room seemed quite far (it wasn't) but they have an elevator (yay! some don't).|Very good for our overnight stay.

★★★After spending the entire day in Yellowstone NP, it was good to have a place to stay that was fairly close to the park. After checking in, we spent some time in the lobby admiring the detail of it. The decor really fits are area. Our room was adequate. I spoke with the General Manager the following morning regarding our concerns and he was very accommodating, wanting to make things right by us, which we appreciated.

★★★★★Pros: Hot water, coffee available at lobby. Room comes with breakfast in the morning (bread, cereal, waffles, banana, muffins, egg). Staff is friendly. Lobby interior decoration is quite nice and cosy. Room is spacious. Pay per use washers available in the building. Cons: Walls are not fully sound proof, heard a family arguing next door in the middle of the night. Strange design in bathroom, there was a drop in the ceiling height above the basin as if there is a stairs above it.

NillWe enjoyed this hotel - yes, well-loved, but not shabby, and a western vibe with taxidermy animals - you are out west, after all. The rooms were fine, as was the bathroom and shower. We easily walked the town from there, and parking, although in a central location, was good. Thankfully they had an elevator, as our room was in the next zipcode! Nice staff, they laughed at my joke. I could say walls were a little thin, but although noise could be heard, especially the water pipes/plumbing as the neighbors showered at 6:30 am(!), it's not like you could hear conversations. Breakfast was good, the usual eggs, meat, waffles, cereal etc etc. It was perfect for an overnight stay and VERY close to the west entrance to Yellowstone.
