Staybridge Suites Lincoln Northeast by IHG

I have never stayed at this location in my many travels through Nebraska. The Grand Island Candlewood Suites is hard to beat. It is so clean and updated. That being said- this hotel is old and tired. Not the end of the world but it was not very clean. The front desk staff was friendly. Breakfast was ok. The blueberries were delicious. I wish I could have had a single serve yogurt to take to my room. I don't enjoy sharing with others from a large tub. The fan in my room was very loud. I could not use it. Splatter on the kitchen cabinet. Just not too much attention to detail. The bed was comfortable and clean. That was a plus.

I have been staying here since the hotel opened and prior to that I stayed at the other Staybridge that is now closed. Overall it is good but for at least the last 4 years I have been disappointed each time and ask myself why do I continue to stay here and the answer is that as of now there is not enough hotels in Lincoln with a 2 bedroom suite but that is changing. My problem is the same every time, HOUSEKEEPING!!! IT IS HORRIBLE. I usually stay over a weekend and they have a sign that says if you want service on Saturday or Sunday you must notify us on Friday before 5pm. I always ask for light service like towels and trash removal. it NEVER happens. I stayed for 2 weeks last time and my room would not be cleaned for several days at a time. This stay I told them when I checked in on Thursday I wanted Saturday and Sunday service and I verified with front desk early Friday morning and they said we dont do weekend service and I stated that there is a sign in my room that says they do if I notify them and she said that it had already been notified in my notes to the room. I have my family come visit me and it is embarrassing to have towels all on the bathroom floor or no toilet paper. I am handicapped and use a cane or wheelchair to get around. It is really difficult to carry towels and toilet paper to my room using a cane. I am really sad that management can not get this housekeeping issue fixed. Honor what you show or remove the signage. The breakfast is good but for the first time ever I encountered a very rude person doing the breakfast on Saturday. I did not bother to go back on Sunday or Monday. Never received Recognition as a member. Pool and Jacuzzi was not working for 3 of my 4 days. I am not sure if I will continue to pay over 300.00 a night to stay in a room that is not cleaned everyday.

From the moment we entered everyone was professional helpful and fun. The rooms are so nice and the bed was great. Overall one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. Will be my first choice in the future! The only negative would be no hot tub on site.

We could not have a better unwind spot after our daughter's wedding. We felt completely able to unwind after spending the day making sure our guests enjoyed their experience, we were able to enjoy the unwind. Our family that stayed at the hotel were all impressed with the accommodations! We were able to take credit for their experience, even though we didn't do any upgrades! Lol!

My experience with the hotel was excellent. Very friendly and accommodating staff with clean and well stocked rooms. I did not attend the social hour or any other amenities pool, patio, etc but was promptly notified of them upon check in. There was a business convention going on (reason for my stay) and the parking lot was full and kind of difficult for my large pickup to fit but that's to be expected. Otherwise for as full as the hotel was it was very quiet. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again if I needed and would recommend for any other traveler needing one or more nights.

Our stay was very nice. We had all the comforts of home in a small suite. We especially liked the location in Lincoln to our appointments and the easy access to the interstate. We also liked the feeling of security in a changing city like most larger cities today. We would stay here again. Bring your sound machine or play white noise on your phone as they are located on a busy street..

The hotel is decorated beautifully and maintained well. The staff is friendly and responsive. I would recommend a thorough inspection of the bathrooms in all rooms to check for paint peel due to moisture. It's the little paint peel, or an old seat with a stain that ruins the entire experience. Minor fixes like these prevent major repairs in the future.

I can't express enough how amazing our experience was. The hotel was not only immaculate and comfortable but also had a team that went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. A special mention goes to the staff who helped my mom retrieve her wedding ring, which she had accidentally left behind. Their dedication and attention to detail in finding and returning such a precious item were truly heartwarming. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the overall service was exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful stay with a team that truly cares about its guests. Thank you for making our visit so memorable!
