Comfort Suites East Lincoln - Mall Area

We stayed here 2 weekends in a row, and while the rooms left a lot to be desired, the staff deal with a LOT of crappy guests. The rooms are older and falling apart in some areas, like the key readers not working half the time, I don't think our AC unit worked very well 2nd time we were staying there, and the drywall tape was peeling in the bathroom. But many hotels on the cheaper end seem to be older and falling apart. The pool at least looked clean, and the food was decent enough. Now some of the staff were a bit lacking in enthusiasm but I can't blame them after we watched a lady harass the front desk girl at our check out. I did t catch the employees name but she was trying to convey how she had no way to let the lady check in at 10AM to her FIVE rooms on a Sunday. The lady was calling her names and pretending to be polite, but going in circles and the poor desk lady was struggling to stay polite so we stepped in. The guest then got verbal and stormed out but if that's the type of guest staying here, go find a more expensive hotel that won't be so booked and has the means to bend over backwards to your privileged self. The staff do their best with what they have. Want cheap rooms, you get cheap quality and that worked just fine for us.

Make sure that you book online. The room base rate was $68 online, when I called the hotel directly they added a service fee and it came to $123 for 1 adult + 1 baby. I hung up and booked the same room with the same number of people online for $82 including tax. Once you're there the hotel is nice, clean rooms, everything as you'd expect...

Room was large, clean and comfortable! Front desk was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. Comfortable bed, very quiet. Only downside was our room had some significant carpet damage.

Used to be a great place to stay. Close to Patty's Pub, Cook's Cafe, and Gateway Mall. Last visit was 3/2/25, wash cloths looked like they were used to wash the car, no grab bars in the bathtub, and just not very clean. Going to look for a different place to stay our next time in Lincoln.

We loved the location and was easy to find! The heater in the rooms my family stayed in sounded like a car back firing when they started up and then they were extremely loud. They ran my card 20 times threw out the night charging me over and over for my two rooms. My mom almost tripped over there carpet/floor molding that was falling off the wall. Very disappointed with this hotel just becuase the fact of them charging my card 20 times and demanding another card at 10pm and charged that card too. Definitely won't be staying here again.

Attention ALL!! If I could give this hotel a negative number for review I would! DO NOT stay there unless you want bedbugs and to be covered in filth! We arrived at 11:55 pm to check in for a hospital stay the next day. We arrived so late because we both worked all day and live four hours away from Lincoln. First all the terrible reviews are all true and then some! The staff was horrible, two guests kicking an empty luggage cart down the hall when we arrived, two sets of keys from the front desk didn’t work in room we were to stay in, the third set of keys to a different room we were told to stay in - only one worked, opening the door there was an immediate stench and ripped up carpet, there was a hole in the bathroom door, EVERYTHING was covered in a gross film and then we found bedbugs! We left after five minutes! Save yourself time and money and absolutely avoid this place like the plague! Oh and they will NOT give you your money back! I would have felt safer and cleaner sleeping on the streets! The pictures online and OLD good reviews are non existent at this point with this hotel needs to be shut down!!!

Just a regular hotel with pool and free continental breakfast. Clean though and if you looking for something that's clean, quiet and cheap...stay here.

Called to reserve and requested adjoining rooms, was told they were available and to call the morning of arrival for confirmation that I got the requested rooms. The morning of arrival I tried well over 10 times to call the front desk to confirm and the message "this number isn't available right now" was the only thing I heard. I called the reservation line and they also could not contact the front desk. Upon arrival I was told they did have any connecting rooms. I explained that I had been told that they had them available and that I had tried to confirm but their phones were not working. They did not apologize for their phones not working. They said they had rooms next to each other. Our rooms were definitely not next to each other. The rooms were 2 doors down, in a different "alcove" area and on the opposite wall. They need to have better communication between the reservation people and the front desk. I picked this hotel so we could have the adjoining rooms and spent a good amount of money to have them. Please work on your communication and don't offer things you don't have
