Hyatt Place Lincoln/Downtown-Haymarket

I had a seven night stay at the Hyatt Place in Lincoln. I've stayed here numerous times in the past. The hotel is fairly new, clean, and in a great location for sporting events, concerts, dining, and really anything you need/want to do in Lincoln. ||I used the workout room numerous times while staying. It has free wights, treads and bikes. It's not the biggest, but it definitely was good for my routine.||Breakfast is nice at this hotel. It is buffet style and the chef does a great job of rotating mains. Scrambled eggs one day, omelets the next; tots or potatoes. He really does a great job of keeping the food hot, refilled and keeping the dining area very clean. I loved watching him work, as odd as that sounds, because he is so good at it.||I spoke with several staff members as I would come and go at all hours of the day/night. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful.||They did a good job of recognizing my Globalist status with Hyatt. That status doesn't get you a ton at a Hyatt Place, but it is nice that they recognize it.||Self parking is in a garage right next door to the hotel. The cost is reasonable, and it is great to have a garage in Lincoln during the winters..no scraping.||I believe all of the rooms have a sofa bed in addition to whatever bedding choice you choose. The bathrooms have one sink and a walk in shower that is good sized.||There is a bar that has a decent selection of wine, beer and mixed drinks.||This is my go to for Lincoln on this side of town.

The rooms were in style, very comfortable, very clean and nicely decorated. The room was extremely dry which caused my sinuses to need moisture. I took a steamy shower mid morning. A nice surprise was the breakfast which was very good!!! I was disappointed there was no hot tub and the pool was small. Another nice surprise was parking was paid for!

The hotel was average at best. Not worth the price. Needs more staff and more attention to detail when it comes to cleanliness.||On the plus side, the location was nice if you are wanting to experience downtown Lincoln. The breakfast buffet did have a great variety of options.

Great location. Clean hotel. Wonderful breakfast options. Met our needs for an overnight in Lincoln. We would recommend you book if you have needs in downtown Lincoln. A great location and now I am just writing because I have to meet a 200 word minimum for this review.

My family just stayed at this location to attend a game at the Pinnacle Arena. The hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly and the free breakfast was good. My kids said the pool was heated. Also the walking proximity to restaurants and the Arena was unbeatable. Both for us were within 2 blocks walking distance. We will definitely return and stay here again!

We recently stayed at the Hyatt Place in downtown Lincoln for a college visit to UNL. It was perfect for our stay. Easy parking, close to everything and the breakfast made it easy for us to get out without a separate stop. It was also super close when walking to the basketball game in the cold. I highly recommend.

We had an incredible stay for the NCAA Volleyball Sweet Sixteen! The hotel staff was very helpful, the room was spacious and cozy, and the location was perfect - close to the restaurants and bars. The breakfast options were healthy and hearty each morning. 10/10 recommend!

One of the worst places I have ever stayed. Location was good, but that was the only thing I can say about the place. Bathroom had hair in several places. Glass was dirty and had fingerprints on it. The worst part was the noise. Could hear water going down the drain anytime someone above took a shower. It sounded like a wrestling match from the people up above. Just hearing a door close from other rooms on the floor was enough to wake someone up.
