A Reliable and Comfortable Stay The AmericInn by Wyndham Lincoln is a solid choice for a comfortable and convenient overnight stay, particularly for travelers passing through the area near Interstate 80. This hotel delivers on the essentials without any major frills or luxuries. **The Pros:** - The beds were comfortable and provided a good night's sleep. - The rooms were clean, quiet, and well-equipped with the necessary amenities. - The staff was friendly and competent in handling the check-in/check-out process. - The air conditioning and heating systems functioned properly, keeping the room at a comfortable temperature. - The free, hot breakfast in the morning was a nice added value. - Two microwaves. - Refrigerator - Two sinks - Kitchenette, with stove **The Cons:** - This hotel is not on the same level as high-end properties like the Hilton or Ritz-Carlton, so it's important to set your expectations accordingly. - While the rooms were adequate, they did not have any exceptional or memorable features. In Conclusion: If you're looking for a reliable, no-frills place to rest your head during a trip, the AmericInn by Wyndham Lincoln fits the bill. It provides all the basic comforts you'd expect from a mid-range hotel chain, making it a solid option for an overnight stay, especially when you consider the competitive pricing. Just don't expect luxury accommodations - this is a straightforward, practical choice that delivers on the essentials.

Positive: Amazing breakfast options for this star level hotel. Negative: The carpet had some kind of dried substance on it and needed to be steam cleaned. The furniture was pretty worn, but wouldn?t turn me away in itself.

We stayed here last tear around this same time and it was a great experience. This time around was not so much. We were celebrating my daughters birthday and I had called a couple of days ahead and asked to see if their pool was heated and if it was up and running. I was told it was , as this was NOT the case. The pool water was freezing and the kids didn't even want to swim. We asked the front counter guy and he said the heater was out. What a mess. The room was nice but the fridge didn't work so they got us a new one. Breakfast time The food was good but once again they had the milk in a fridge that didn't work and it smelt bad The front desk guys are super nice and if they get the pool fixed and the fridges replaced we will stay there again!!

Absolutely disgusting place, the girl at the front desk is rude, refused guests towels claiming to be out but when the gentleman working the night shift showed up (seconds after refusing guests) miraculously towels appeared. The first room I was in looked as if the furniture had been chewed on. The refrigerator didn't work nor did the television. The floor had food smashed into the carpet and what appeared to be vomit on the bed skirt. I asked to switch rooms and was met with aggravated frustration. The lady then insulted my younger sister by telling her she's too young to have her daughter, not her business. The pool water was disgusting! So cloudy and murky you couldn't see a thing. Luckily we never set foot in the pool. The lobby stunk and was unbelievably hot! My family and I canceled our second night's day. I was refunded with no problem. However, the gentleman who was working the night shift, gave my mother and sister a very difficult time, told them there was nothing he could do they had to call the booking site That they booked from. Horrible disgusting place do not recommend at all.

This was our first experience staying at an AmericInn, and it will be our LAST! There were problems booking through their website. We had to cancel and rebook our reservation several times to fix both the room and the date. They ended up charging us for one of those cancelled reservations. When we got to the location they said that they would fix that; they did NOT. Also, the property was not clean, and there was a lot of cigarette smoke because the employee and his friends were smoking just outside the main entrance. The room wasn't any better. There were stains on the bedding, in the shower, and all over the floor. It was so bad that we put towels down on the sheets to sleep on, and no one dared to take a shower. It was disgusting! When we went to wash our hands the soap box was opened and the little sample soap bar had been previously used. Gross does NOT even describe our experience. We did not sleep well at all. We woke up early so that we could eat some breakfast and get out of there as soon as possible. The breakfast was TERRIBLE! Most of our family refused to eat anything. I ate some of the hot foods because I wanted to make sure that I had enough energy for our long drive. The eggs were gray and tasted awful. We left after just a few minutes in the breakfast area. On our drive home, I began to feel sick. Once we got home, I was very sick for 10 days. I was the only one who ate at AmericInn and consequently I was the only one to get sick. Spend some extra money and stay at a nicer hotel with better accommodations and service. AmericInn does NOT deserve your business. Avoid at all cost.

This hotel has the potential to be very good. It's conveniently close to I-80 yet far enough away that traffic noise isn't an issue. The staff is friendly and competent. The single king bed room I stayed in was larger than average and clean. There are a few convenience stores and gas stations around so you won't have to go far for food or supplies. You even get your choice of microwaves! For some reason this room has two. There's a little kitchen sink, a few cabinets for dishes, and even a little glass stovetop. However, there are quite a few minor annoyances. The bed is rock hard. I prefer firm mattresses but this takes firmness to another level. I can barely sleep on it. The mini fridge makes a weird noise like an interdimensional creature from The Outer Limits. The bathroom ventilation fan doesn't work, and the wall heater doesn't have a setting to run the fan continuously, so there's no way to drown out random hotel noise or traffic from the nearby road. If they softened the mattress a bit and fixed the bathroom fan this would be a winner. Given that I can barely sleep on this bed I don't think I'll be staying here again.

Never again.||The hot tub was warm, but the jets were not working. My daughter went to the front desk to inform them. The front desk worker came into the pool area, said nothing, but went into the utility room which I presume is where the hot tub control panel is. We were in the warm water, waiting. He never told us to move out of the water, etc. We were the only ones in the pool area. We heard a sound (like air being released). I looked over at my daughter, who was sitting in the hot tub right in front of one of the vents. ||Dark stuff poured out when I heard this sound, and I soon realized it was bugs pouring into the water. I calmly told her to stand up and get out. She was confused but did and then realized. My other daughter went and got me a pool towel so I could try to remove them. Then, the front desk worker emerged out of the utility room... no sense of urgency, excitement, or apology. Didn't help remove the bugs (even though I told him and showed him). I promise we will never return to this location. Gross hotel and awful service. ||Also, the sidewalk project outside was not taped off at all.

My family needed a place to stay with very short notice. I checked out several hotels before finding America inn and I'm so pleased I did. The staff was very welcoming. Specifically Mike at the front desk. Every night was quite and peaceful except one night there was screaming historically and it was keeping my young children awake. I asked Mike at the front desk if he could help and he immediately addressed the situation professionally and calmly. The screaming stopped and we got a great night's rest. Thank you to the staff and Mike. Sincerely Jordan
