Super 8 by Wyndham Omaha I-80 West

The first room they gave us.. (room 130) greets you with a pissy dog smell along with pet hair in the carpet. Upon pulling back the sheets, we noticed a huge hole in the middle of the sheets in one bed, and the other had yellow stains and hair from someone. So I immediately went back down to the front desk and asked to be switched. They were swift to change my room. I'll give them that. But when I went to the next room (room 204)and pulled back the sheets in front of them to make sure it was clean, HE RUDELY told me I can't check all the sheets in every room he gives me. So I respectfully replied and let them know that if I had a clean room in the first place, we wouldn't be in this second room checking the sheets. All in all, I did not take a shower here, and I slept in my clothes with no covers. I only needed 5 hrs of sleep to get back on the road, and frankly, I should've just slept in my car

The moment you step into the lobby, you're greeted by the strong smell of cigarettes. As you go up to the third floor, each level is filled with a harsh chemical stench. It’s not chlorine, and it’s definitely not a pleasant cleaning product—it smells like they’re fumigating for bedbugs or something similar. You’ll be breathing this in all night, and it’s impossible to get used to. Even in the morning, the smell is still overpowering. We turned on the air conditioner, and that brought a whole new problem—a burnt, almost scorched smell. The unit clearly hasn’t been serviced since it was installed. It’s likely clogged with dust, which just heats up and fills the room with an awful odor. The bed was disgusting—sheets were stained and looked far from clean. It felt like they hadn’t been properly washed in a long time. On top of that, they don’t even offer breakfast—not even coffee.

The staff is amazing here! They have been quite the help through out this last winter. Sarah is a doll and always has a smile on her face! They have been more than accommodating and have gone above and beyond any other hotel that I’ve stayed in across county. Thank you again to the staff! :)

It was the night of the storm my family and I showed up about 1:30 a.m. the whole place smelled of moth balls we had the front counter attendant change our room three times before we found a room that had a suitable smell. We begin to bed down and upon turning down the sheets we saw a bed bug crawl across the pillow. We immediately begin to pack up our things to leave this place and we're told that we would needed to contact the manager the next business day to work on getting a refund. When we contacted customer service, the call quickly escalated to a supervisor. We were then told that we completed our stay and we were not able to receive a refund. I am very disappointed in the Wyndham brand!!!!! I nor my family will ever stay there again, emergency or not! I strongly recommend others to follow suit and do not patronize this location or this brand!

The hostess was amazing! Sarah is her name, and she was definitely above and beyond. The heater did not work then my room so well and she very professionally and quickly change rims for me. She is a definite asset to your business appreciate her professionalism

We needed a pet friendly hotel and from outside and ads this seemed OK. The rate was great but not worth it anyway. The lobby looked nice but that's all. The room was scented with some chemical, artificial odor. It was overwhelming. I started the fan while we walked the dog. The outside door latch was broken. The TV didn't work, the bathroom was not clean,tub faucet dripped, toilet seat was broken and sink clogged.The worst thing was the sheets were scented with same scent. I would have asked to change rooms but my partner was exhausted and just wanted to sleep. And ,fyi, no breakfast. They have machines to buy things., Stay away

This Super 8 was hands down the WORST Super 8 I have ever stayed at! The rooms were not clean and they appeared as they have not been cleaned after several occupancies. The room had such a strong moth ball smell that it made my eyes water as soon as the door was opened. We stayed for 4 hrs, I did not even get undressed or take my boots off, slept on top of the bedding and left. On top of all that the staff was rude. The front desk acted like they were annoyed by us asking for two rooms.I will not recommend a stay at any Super 8 in the future. Sincerely StephenRichardson CO, USA

If I could give zero stars I would. This place is dirty, filled with addicts, people screaming and fighting in the halls at 2am. So many broken things in the hotel and rooms. Side door to hotel doesn’t shut or lock at all. My kids were terrified to be here after the first night. Seriously, do not stay here. Not safe at all.
