NillA fantastic little hotel on the main road through Brighton. We needed a night out of the house while some work was being done and were thrilled to have this 'neighborhood' hotel right down the road. The fact that it was pet friendly made it that much better as we had our dog with us. The hotel had an easy self check in process and a very responsive host just a quick phone call away. The rooms were very clean and newly refinished and there was a nice lounge down on the ground floor. There is also a great international cafe right next door. We will certainly stay again if necessary and certainly recommend it for out of town guests.

NillTwo phrases will describe my stay – warm room and warm experience. My luck, I was visiting Rochester during a week of heavy snowfall and single digit weather. I arrived late at night to the hotel and the check-in process was so EASY; scan code and lock-box key to my room. They had the room extremely warm. Each day the ground was maintained, snow removal and salting. And they periodically contacted me to ensure I was enjoying my stay. It's the little things that count. I am happy with the treatment I received. I highly recommend the Hotel on Monroe.

NillThe staff replaced our entire set of towels after a snowfall in late February before we could ask for a fresh set. We stayed 4 nights. The 2nd night my wife noticed the thermostat was flashing a "low battery" signal. The temperature that night was forecast to be in the teens. In less than five minutes the manager appeared with a fresh battery, installed it and was gone in 30 seconds. Amazing. Plus, the toilet seat is heated. My wife has anointed me to install a heated toilet seat in our home bathroom. Thanks, Best Western!😆

NillMy son and I spent this past weekend here and were pleasantly surprised. When you pull up it looks like a typical motel but as you get closer and see the way it’s set up, I would describe it as more eclectic. Each room is a letter not a number which was cute and when you go inside the room you truly feel like you’ve entered into a chic inn. The floors were gorgeous, beds comfortable but most of all the BEST hotel bathroom ever!! Would definitely stay again!!

NillAmazing service and hospitality over the phone, in person and post-check out. Conveniently located close to groceries, stores, restaurants, and the Strong museum. In a safe neighbourhood, great for dog walking. Renovated washroom, comfy beds. Perfect stay!

NillThe room has no microwave and none is AVAILABLE except the lobby because “it’s too hard to keep them clean”. Literally every normal hotel at least has a floating one but not here! There is a good bed and fridge, and an old phone. No alarm clock. No coffee maker. No ice! They also only have internet TV so don’t expect to watch the game or anything. There is no human in the lobby! They sometimes answer when you call, not always! It took 2 days and texts and emails just to get my bill! I have no idea why you’d stay here twice, there are other hotels nearby. This isn’t boutique. It’s empty and the service is BAD.

NillI have stayed at this hotel twice now and it is one of my favorites in Rochester. It is in a great location, very clean, no strange smells, quiet and the management is so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend checking it out!

NillGood room…pretty basic but did the trick. Comfy mattress ….some road noise….clean room. Great location for hooking up with family. We had handicap room and you have to make sure foam diverter is in place to avoid water on floor…very important! We’d stay here again if in town.
