Front desk staff was great, especially upon check-in. All other staff were friendly except for the bar/restaurant staff. They weren't mean, but just not friendly. Like we were bothering them to be there. There was no drink menu, and the waitress didn't know what drinks were available. She had to ask someone else. Ordered a long Island Iced Tea ... not sure what we got, but it was not a long island. They did take that off out bill since it wasn't very good. Overall, good place to stay as long as you aren't planning on spending a lot of time in the bar! Part of the reason we stay there is because of the restaurant/bar across the street.

I could not have asked for a better experience at the Holiday Inn Canton Belden Village. It was an exciting hopping place to stay with a State Socker Tournament going on in the immediate area near Belden Mall over the weekend with many of the kids and adults staying there. They had so much space to play games and cards in the large lobby around short tables with chairs around them. They were polite and having a wonderful time. Now let me talk about the staff. I simply cannot remember ever being treated with more help and kindness by the front desk and attached restaurant staff. I am 75 and partly handicapped. They went beyond what you would ever expect from hotel personnel to make my stay delightful, safe, and manageable. The attached restaurant had great food with no need to venture out on the road to get a drink or a meal.

Staff was very friendly and responsive. Bed was comfortable and warm. Staff did a good job of keeping up on the common areas that were tracked up from snow and salt. Very nice lobby area with choice of TV screens to view but not listen to as they were close captioned. This is way it should be so you can sit and enjoy talking without being pounded down by TV sound. Really liked that they recognize this. Would have liked to have seen the complimentary coffee available in lobby after 10:00 am. We tried the on-site restaurant for breakfast. Waitress was prompt and friendly, but the coffee was warm, not hot, and the orange juice was warm, not cold. My entree of biscuits and gravy was also barely warm enough. Bottom line, would we stay there again? Absolutely.

I stay here frequently for work and always have a good stay. Front desk staff is cool and the ladies in the bar are awesome at night and in the morning for breakfast. Sabe is my favorite she is always extra friendly and bends over backwards for her guests. Only thing bad I guess that I have to say about this hotel is just the food at night is sometimes not available like chicken wings, Mac and cheese & chicken fingers for kids. Other than that the food is great and I love that kids eat free.

Room was great- clean and comfortable. Everything in good repair. Pull out bed not quite as comfortable, but that is as expected. Staff was friendly. We had drinks at the bar, and service was great. Coffee service at front desk was good, the coffee was cold- but staff fixed the problem. A fire alarm was intermittently screeching VERY loudly, when we got there, until we left the next day. This didn’t really affect our comfort though.

We were in town for 4 nights for an annual pool tournament. Upon arrival, the desk was not helpful. He handed me my room keys and said “any questions”. As a platinum elite, I was supposed to have a welcome amenity but he never mentioned it. It was late so I just moved on. Then we went to our room which only had 1 towel for two people, had a spot light from outside shining into our window (room 167) and the AC didn’t work. Again, it was late and it was colder that night so the AC wasn’t a big problem, yet. The next night our room was uncomfortable. I went downstairs to ask to move rooms and there was no one at the desk. Tried to call from the room at one point too, and no answer. Tried the next afternoon when I finally had a chance and the line was 10 people deep checking in. On Saturday we left the room at 9 am without a sign on the door expecting the room to be cleaned and it wasn’t. The shower leaks to the floor so we had to use our towels for that. Too much of a hassle and would not stay at this property again. We’ve been coming up to Canton for 10+ years for this tournament and this was the most expensive stay and the worst experience for us.

Room was very clean. The beds were comfortable. I was very happy with my stay all. Besides, I ran out of soap, I asked multiple times to the front desk. Never got any so I did have to go buy some. And I thought we got free breakfast. No free breakfast at this hotel. You must pay to use the restaurant, but besides that. It was a great stay.

This property was very nice and clean. We opted to pay the extra $14.95 per person for breakfast. As we have stayed in several holiday inns I was expecting a nice option for breakfast. I could not of been more wrong, $45 for 2 adults and 1 child was criminal for the breakfast that was offered. No cinnamon rolls which I thought was a staple at holiday inns. No bagel, no choice of bread. No yogurt, terrible.
