Candlewood Suites Perrysburg by IHG

Very convenient location, near many food and shopping options. Rooms could use a little updating and miscellaneous maintenance but were clean and decently comfortable. I would like to see more USB hubs and/or outlets close to the bed. Kitchen was perfect with all the necessary utensils. Shower had great pressure and hot water. Would like to have had an option for breakfast other than the little nook of foods you have to purchase (although everything was priced very reasonably). Free coffee was a bonus and was delicious, bonus points for having vanilla creamer! Gym was a nice touch and equipment was newer. Washer and dryers were conveniently placed and efficient.

Overall, my stay here was good. I definitely got what I paid for. However, upon arrival, I had to wait 5-10 minutes for someone to come to the front desk, despite ringing the bell multiple times. It was 10pm, there was a large group of men openly drinking and being rowdy in the lobby, and a couple that was using the phone that seemed to not even be a guest. I was a solo female traveller standing there just trying to check in, surrounded by people that made me feel uncomfortable, and no staff in sight. When the staff member finally came out, he was asking me if I had already paid, which I thought I had because I put my credit card info in on the app when I booked, and then he told me a different price than what I had confirmed on the IHG app. It wasn’t much different but different nonetheless. I did greatly appreciate his flexibility with my support animal I was traveling with, however! Once I got to my room, everything was fine. It was nothing fancy but it was sufficiently clean and comfortable. So all in all, it is a good bang for your buck as long as you aren’t expecting too notch customer service.

This was my first time staying at a candlewood suites, and I was very impressed. The rooms have recently been remodeled and updated very nicely. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the sheets were super soft.

Great staff and very helpful. My stay at this hotel was exceptional! The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring every need was met. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and well-equipped for a comfortable stay. The amenities, including the dining options, exceeded expectations. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

They recognized me a member and checked in as quick as possible. the bed was comfortable and there is enough area around the hotel to take my pet for a walk. Less noise pollution and very peaceful. the perks of staying at candlewood is we get free laundry. Will be visiting back soon to stay again.

It's fine. The bed and tub seemed clean but the wall next to the bed was visibly dirty with something that had dripped down and dried. The floors were not clean. They have Command hooks in the bathroom? Seems pieced together haphazardly. There are indeed random trash cans in the hallways. It clearly isn't maintained well and the cheap additions and furnishings are beat up. For 90 bucks it was serviceable but we wouldn't return.

I had a fantastic experience at Candlewood Suites! The staff was welcoming and professional, making check-in a breeze. This place was quite impressive. It was like home away from home. It was beautiful. It had a full refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, pots, pans, silverware, plates and a dishwasher. There is free washing and drying. And the price was right. The price that it would cost at the Holiday Inn, across the parking lot, for one night we paid for less for two nights.
