Baymont by Wyndham Perrysburg/Toledo

Coffee cold in lobby, breakfast is microwave eggs and sausage, bug guts smeared on rooms wall by heater, housekeeping came in while still in room. Hot tub, pool, and jacuzzi were great. Check-in was easy, and they were friendly. If just looking to crash overnight.... not bad. If wanting good food, cleaner, and hot coffee in the lobby, go to comfort inn suites instead.

The only good part of the visit was the front desk guy who made my cancellation easy. The outside of the hotel looks great, as does the inside. Pool looked clean the lobby was attractive, the rooms were average cheap hotel room. However, immediately upon entering there is a cockroach climbing the wall. This resulted in us leaving, while leaving we found several smashed in the carpet and on the wall in the hallway on the second floor. The hotel cannot control the types of people that frequent these places however it is still an issue none the less. They did refund my stay with no issues.

We stayed at the Baymont inn and suites in Perrysburg Ohio on Saturday March 15 2025. We had only been there a couple of hours when the power went out. The room and hallway were very dark. After a couple of hours of sitting in the car. We went and spoke to the guy at the front desk. He first said we could go walk around Walmart for an hour and a half or so. We said we would just like to get our money back and go home. He said we could. So I packed up our stuff and my wife went to the front desk to check out. They went and checked our room to make sure it was clean. They always do this. He gave my wife our deposit back but said because our room was paid on her daughter's card it would have to be put back on the card. He said he didn't know how long it would take. To call back when another manager was there who would have an idea how long it would take. My wife called today Monday March 17 2025. The manager she spoke with was rude! He said we weren't told we would get the money back! Calling my wife a liar! Said we spent a couple of hours in the hotel so he wasn't giving out money back! My wife even said we would be willing to just have another night at the hotel. He wasn't doing that either! We were not the only ones who were there asking for the refund. They were told they could get a refund too. I don't know if they were lied to as well and treated very badly! Or if they had paid for their rooms with cash and got their money back! We had stayed at this hotel many times and have had friends and family who have stayed there as well! PLEASE! if you choose to stay at the Baymont in Perrysburg Ohio be careful! They are liars and thieves and will tell you they will give your money back and then lie! Possibly to get twice the money for their room! My advice find a different hotel run by honest people! I only put 1 star because there isn't anything lower!!!

My husband booked us a room here January 13 through Priceline. We checked in at the Desk and didn’t actually go into the room until an hour later. After entering the room maybe 40 minutes later my husband notices cockroaches on the wall. He took photo and video proof and showed the night auditor and informed her we would no longer be staying. We contacted Priceline who was more than willing to issue a refund contingent upon approval from the general manager. The next morning we spoke to the GM and Priceline and we were informed that the GM is refusing to issue a refund due to his night auditor not logging any incidents of bed bugs and also stating that we had been in the room a few hours. After reading the reviews I can see that the management and staff are very aware of the roach situation and this not the first complaint. I tried to call and speak with general manager “Patel” but was given the run around about his availability and email address.

This was the worst hotel I've ever been to. First it looked like they started renovating it and just quit in the middle, the I've machine by my room(which was next to stacked bags of garbage) and the only other one that worked was all the way at the front of the hotel. My room didn't have a phone or coffee maker, and the halls were gross looking the bathroom was so small you could barely walk in it and it was absolutely disgusting. Also my boyfriend and I woke up a bit late for check out and while we were getting out things together the woman cleaning the rooms would not stop harassing us. I can't believe i wasted my money on this place.

The fire door in the hall was very difficult to open. People were helping others to get it open. It's scary to think what could happen if there was a fire and people got stuck in the hall. ||||I could connect to the internet but not use. It was the weekend. They said when the hotel is full, guest frequently can't get online, even if a connection was made. I could keep trying but I likely wouldn't be able get online because it could only handle so many guest at a time and on weekends it was a common problem. I was never able to get online.||||Breakfast was not good at all.||||The staff was extremely service orientated and kind. The room was pleasant looking. The bed was nice. It wasn't noisy.

I felt very welcomed the first day! The pool was nice and so was the hot tub. My husband and I will be back ❤️ My room was clean. Plenty of things to do around here as well. I’d recommend staying for a quick get away. I enjoyed my weekend and so did my husband 😊

Horrible stay.. my family , employees and other guests exposed to cockroaches in the front desk area and breakfast area. I informed the front desk representative and she attempted to rid the cockroaches manually. We obviously left the establishment after we were exposed to the vermin. The manager has still not called me back. I hope the vermin issuse is being addressed properly and quickly. Now im afraid the cockroaches are in luggage
