NillGreat place to stay if you are visiting Eugene for a few days. Rooms are small & basic, but they are clean & modern. Breakfast is good and ample free parking. Short drive less than 5 min drive to U of O & downtown. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Nice lobby area to hang out in with pool table & games. Highly recommend.

NillEverything was great. The room was super clean, the staff were lovely, and they're dog friendly which makes it a plus. The bed was comfy, the pillows were nice because they weren't the feather pillows that sink and then you have no cushion. We'll definitely look for more of these locations on our trip.

NillI enjoyed my week stay at Tru Hotel by Hilton. The hotel was very clean, room was spacious with working refrigerator, clean bathroom, and nice towels. One side of the hotel has a view of the river and some of downtown Eugene, OR which was nice to look out to. The other side of the hotel has a massive parking lot that is well lit at night. The hotel gym was a great size with plenty of equipment. Hotel breakfast was standard with the change up of hot options daily. The front desk staff were very kind and helped with anything when needed. Location is a short drive to downtown Eugene or Springfield. I would definitely stay here again.

NillI used to stay here frequently but last night had a nightmare experience. My company usually pays for the stays but somebody dropped the ball and didn’t get the proper authorization. The front desk person wouldn’t check me in until she got some kind of authorization for payment, even though I had a long record of previous stays. Had to contact my boss who was also very upset. He too agreed to not reserve here anymore.

NillA new and clean hotel which is why it is so disappointing they couldn't manage to soundproof the windows a little. The noise from the road traffic outside is so bad they provide white noise machines in the room. If you must stay ask for a room overlooking the car park. I can't say its better but its worth trying. Simple layout but everything you need.

NillStayed here for UO Family Weekend. Found it really hard to get a good night's sleep due to noise. Not sure I would stay here again. Maybe carpet instead of hardwood in rooms/hallways could help? I Could hear every footstep and anything dropped on the ground from the room above which woke me up in the middle of the night, even with earplugs in. Could hear sneezing from the room next door. Better sound-proofing needed. Breakfast was good, rooms were clean (please get the windows washed though!), nice layout if only it weren't so noisy.

★★★Positive: TRU is always clean and modern Negative: TV didn?t work in our room for the entire stay despite letting staff know after checkin and again the next staff in the morning. Car alarm going on and off for hours in the parking lot made for a terrible nights sleep, or lack there of.

NillGood new hotel that has all basics for overnight stay. The location is away from craziness and within short drive to restaurants and grocery stores including Whole Foods. There is no coffee maker or microwave in the room. I forgot Tru doesn't have it. Hot water downstairs wasn't very hot. Room was on the smaller size but had everything you need. Beds were comfortable! There are few things I want to point out: 1) while I prefer floors without carpet, I was shocked to see how dirty floor was. First in the bathroom when water escaped between shower glass wall and shower door. I tried to catch it.... There were many loose long black hair floating on the floor. Floor in bathroom has not been wiped after previous guests. Floor in the room was not better. We spilled a little bit of water and attempted to clean it. Towel was BLACK in color! So as my kids white socks. Floors were not cleaned in the room we stayed forever! 2) breakfast hours are weird. It runs till 9 am. We overslept and when asked about to go breakfast or anything we could have, front desk lady said no. I find it hard to believe they don't have spare items left from breakfast. Again, hot water was barely hot so we couldn't even make a tea. 3) hand soap in our room was not checked/replaced by housekeeping prior to our arrival. 3 of us were able to wash hands and bottle was empty. Had to go to front desk for more hand soap. Other than that all towels and bedding were clean and fresh. Overall impression of the hotel was very good. Thank you!
