NillThe room was spacious and clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. While it may not compare to high-end luxury hotels, it’s easily the best option for the price in this area. The breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day! Highly recommend!

NillThe staff was friendly! The room was a bit small but it was nice. It has a cute sitting area in front of the window. I liked that it has a ceiling fan in the room, never came across that before. Bed was comfy. The breakfast was ok. Expensive.

NillI brought my 11 year old son to the Black Hills for Spring Break. The Roosevelt Inn was a great place to stay. Two miles from Mt. Rushmore. The beds were comfortable, the breakfast was outstanding and the 24/7 coffee was incredible. Everything in this small mountain town is within a five minute walk. We came during the offseason so it was as quiet as I've ever seen a town, which was a bonus. Everyone on the staff that I encountered was super nice and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I will be staying here again in the future.

★★★The hotel is under renovation so the pool was not available. March is also a not tourist month so 90% of the town is closed for business. I travel alone and even if willing to pay for lyft or taxi there were none available. Nobody wanted to pick you up at Keystone, so I will recommend to stay for a night, better to stay in Rapid City if you are alone and not driving. I stayed four nights, and it was so difficult to move around other parts like Hill City or Rapid City. The hotel has no real hot water, it is luke warm. They have no adequate warm blankets so I have to put the heater high. Staff is kind and friendly, Renee working at the front desk made my visit special because thanks to her I was able to find people to drive me to the scenic areas and back to the airport. The breakfast was well prepared.

★★★Despite being under construction the outside is at it appears. Our room 101 was sort of as pictured. Clean but not at all attractive. The door to the bathroom opened part way before it hit the bed. The toilet clogged immediately. The shower was for handicapped so had only a shower curtain. Shower floor was probably clean as was the rest of the room but unattractive tile and drain. There was a seat for handicapped. Room refrigerator was very noisy and being next door to the breakfast room, chairs scraped through thin walls. Breakfast was a good Denver omlet, cold cubed potatoes and sausage patties. Nothing beyond basic. Coffee dispenser would not serve decaf. The two staff members were very nice and helpful. Very ok but not awesome.

NillWe rented this room out of convenience of location to mount rushmore. The service at check-in was awesome. Breakfast the next morning was a 3 out of 10. Another reason i picked this place was because it has a guest laundromat, and it was closed. In the room, the ceiling fan sounded like it was going to fly off. The window ledges were full of dead and old flies or wasp looking bugs. The refrigerator didn't work. And for some reason, we always get shocked when opening the door. I guess you get what you pay for

NillEnjoying my stay here at the Roosevelt Inn. Clean comfortable rooms. Quiet. Great free breakfast in the morning. When you get here look for Reeva! She’s super nice and helpful. If you are heading to Mt Rushmore, make sure you book a room here! I will be back!
