Best Western Ramkota Hotel

So I decided to stay at the Ramkota because I like the ease of access into the rooms, that was a big mistake. I went into rebook for the second day and the female manager, butt in on a conversation that I was having with another team member about why the TVs are set up for mirroring and casting, and they do not work she proceeded to make me feel or try to make me feel like I was not intelligent, When I asked her to slow down so I could keep up, she kicked me out literally told me to get off the property. She. Was so immature she kept my key and when I realized it and came back to get it, she made me apologize, so in fear of…yes, I said made me apologize so In fear of her calling the police and having them escort me off the property without my belongings I did apologize. I’ve been called after I got back into my room to ask if I had until 11 o’clock to get out of the room or if I had to leave right then and then inform me that I had to leave at of all times 1030. Being high ranking members of their little squad I am entitled to early check-in and late check out. The front office manager left word with me as I was checking out to email her to try to defuse the situation. Well, I did that explain to her what happened and no response. am disgusted with this hotel. I will never stay there again. They’re disgrace to the best western name and I am just, hoping that other people pick up on this before it happens to them. One more thing I informed her that as she was kicking me out that I am a diamond member and that I stay at the Best Western all the time she said she didn’t care so apparently the member rating at this Best Western does not count.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had and definitely the worst for this ranking of hotel. When we went to prep the hide-a-bed for my son, there were no sheets. The front refused is access to sheets saying no one was available to open the linen closet until 4 AM. There was trash in the stairwell and hallways, there were drunk people meandering the halls here and there, no access to an elevator anywhere, and the whole place was dark and dingy. If this had been my first stay at a best western, I never would have stayed at one again.

I don’t even know where to start first of all this hotel is very confusing so we got lost many times and our bed had unexplainable stains and BED BUGS there was partying and drinking next door with very loud music past 1 AM. Random pieces of food, metal, etc. The tub won’t drain. The pool slide stops at random times. I can’t last 2 minutes in the hot tub without breathing problems. Not only could I not breathe I also my eyes would burn. Little kids are running around on wet floors with out any warning of any kind. There are no staff around to help with directions, or help of any kind. Smelt like weed 24/7. Hotel servers were rude on the phone. Loud pipes at night. Cock roaches in public bathroom. Blood on the hallway walls. Would not recommend.i would add photos if I new how.

I had requested a handicap room via online. Upon check in, I explained to the women at the front desk what our needs were. (My husband was recently diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor which has affected his mobility and balance) She not only was understanding but upgraded us to a bigger room that was easy to access with a walk in shower and a jacuzzi tub. Good people do exist and such a simple deed gave my heart a lift. Thank you so much.

The floor was littered with garbage. Like they didn't have a vacuum cleaner in the building. Junk up and down the hallways, noodles and beads all over the room. We had a smear of blood on the front of the toilet. There was a bedbug in the shower. We were told the manager would contact us that day, they didn't, so we called the hotel again and they told us it wouldn't be until the next day. We still heard nothing, so we called again and they told us they said we wouldn't hear from them until next week. The time kept getting longer. We eventually did receive a generic email. There were no towels in the pool, ever. When we asked for towels they brought 4.

Front desk staff was not understanding and not friendly at all. It was in the single digits weather outside and we was waiting for our ride to pick us up so I called front desk to ask for a late check out at noon. She instead called the cops and was very rude about it. I have stayed at this hotel off and on for work trips, birthdays and leisure for over 15+ years. This last stay at this hotel will most likely be my last stay here at the hotel since they think it's okay for staff to treat their customers in a rude and unprofessional way.

Stayed in a spacious suite in Building G with a pet. Highly recommend! Almost all the rooms at this hotel open to a patio at ground level (except the King Suites) making it super nice when traveling with pets, but I opted for the extra space in the King and no outdoor patio, stayed on the end near a door with outdoor lights, and it worked out great. Given its size, I was most surprised that this hotel was quiet. Maybe I got lucky with room placement on the end of the corridor, but this place was fully booked and I never heard any noise in the side rooms, or traffic outside. A+ for QUIET, but the PILLOWS get a C.

Stayed here for a convention. I'm not even sure where to start. We stayed there 3 days. 1. No bath towels or tissues in room. We got up to shower in the morning and realized there were no bath towels. Called the front desk and were told we couldn't get any because the house keeping door was locked and they had no access. Would be able to get some after 7am. After 7am we still couldn't get them until manager came in after 9am. My husband used the hand towel to dry and I was unable to shower before convention. We came back to the room at 6pm, still no towels and housekeeping hadn't been in our room. Was told by front desk manager that they would bring us some. Waited 2 hours. My husband went to the front desk and was told they took them to the wrong room. Finally got towels after 13 hours and many phone calls and visits to front desk. 2. Remote on TV didn't work. They fixed it 3. Window had many dead and live BUGS. Told front desk manger and it was never cleaned after 3 days. I have pictures. 4. Requested housekeeping service but never received it for 3 days. We would have left after the 1st day if the convention we were attending wasn't in hotel.
