Rodeway Inn Rapid City

From the very start this hotel gave us issues on our stay. The hotel itself smelled musty like it hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. Our room was a double queen room, one of the beds looked like the ocean it was so bumpy. Like the people sleeping there didn't move for a while and literally dented both sides of the bed. It was unsleepable to say the least. The pool room stank of old pee. The washer could wash about 4 socks at a time it was so small. Items were broken in the room before we got there. We had asked for the room to be cleaned on 3 separate occasions which never got done. Because of that, they felt like they had to charge me an additional 150 after my stay because they thought the sheets were dirty. Would not even recommend this hotel to the homeless on the side of the road. Roadway and Wyndham need to get their crap together.

Miguel, You are so kind, accommodating beyond reproach, and strive to give the customer the best rental experience possible,, and believe me when I tell you, after staying at several other hotels here in Rapid City, You are TOPS! Your loyalty shines thru and you are surely a great asset to your employer! Keep up the Fantastic work

I used to travel for business and seen some pretty mediocre places. This place has just won a gold star for the worst place I have ever stayed. Dirty carpets. Dirty furniture. Sheets that didn't fit the bed. Animal odors in the rooms. We wanted to leave but it was late. We traveled all day. This place should be torn down and rebuilt.

If you choose to stay at this hotel check the beds and couches for bed bugs. Make sure to get pictures and videos as proof to get refunded. Although the manager Miguel and employee Victoria are aware of former bed bug complaints they will not give your money back and claim that nothing was found in the room and mattresses are "new". Unfortunately this was our mistake, we were in and out of this hotel so fast and booked down the road at ramkota which was way better for about the same price! This hotel is overpriced! Rooms are dank, smelly and the couch and mattresses are covered in stains and old.

My first sign to run away was a man getting a BJ in the parking lot. Luckily none of my siblings seen. As soon as we got to the room it felt musty and there was an air purifier in there. My mom noticed a bed bug right away and went to the front office and the clerk didn’t believe her until she showed him the bed bug and he switched us to a different room, not once did he apologize. Once we got to the new room it reeked of cigarettes and the pull out couch was disgusting, at that point we just left. The night clerk informed us we would get a refund since we did pay 200$ for a room, come morning time the manager absolutely refused to refund and was even aggressive. Definitely stay away from this location

Outstanding Customer Service! Room very clean and exceptionally comfortable bed!! Smelled fine and superb air circulation. Inexpensive laundry! Indoor pool and right across from buffet and Walmart. Staff very helpful. Felt safe and fairly quiet and would highly recommend!

Run down furniture, this hotel is not loved. Toiletries were the bare minimum, no conditioner, no body wash, no tub stopper. Showerhead could use a descaling. One of the beds had a comforter and the other only the decorative top sheet. Other than that, it was clean and we felt safe. Coffee was available in the lobby and the room. Vending machines on site, ice machine and guest laundry but no breakfast. |Definitely needs some tlc, replace things that are damaged (like the toilet seat) or worn out (like the furniture)

Avoooiiiiidd! Disgusting room! Chairs were old, and you can see the dirt in the cracks. Floors were not vacuumed. The electricity was wonky, and our lamps didn't even work. The bathroom was even worse..shower still had leftover soap residue and dirt from the last person. The floors were covered in dirt, and it looked like pee(?) on the walls. Looks like all the housekeeper did was replace the sheets and decided that was good enough. After being on the road for 12 hours...totally a let down :( Overall probably the dirtiest room I've seen. Absolutely NOT worth the money, especially not no $100 a night! Hotels was showing our preferred options as booked so we figured we've give them a shot as we were only staying for one night/not even 12 hours..even that was too long
