My Place Hotel-Sioux Falls, SD

No dishes, come prepared. Comfortable bed. Be prepared to be out at least an hour before checkout otherwise they will knock on your door. Even if you have do not disturb out. Maybe they’re use to guest over staying there welcome. Our room did smell like an old man! I had flash backs to working in assisted living facilities. I loved my folks I worked with but you know that smell of a must elderly man that almost never baths and just covers with cologne. That’s exactly what this room smelled and felt like. That scent was a bit thick! This was kind of leisure/business stay. I was in town for daughter's competition. I like a kitchen room so we can save a bit during comp season. So, not really a vacation. I am not a brand snob but I will not be trying this chain again.

This was originally going to be a 5 star review, until housekeeping walked into our room without knocking at 0930 while we were still in there & we had a dog (which they knew about) and was shocked when she opened the door and we were in there. Thankfully we weren’t in the shower or anything but to just walk into a guests room 2 hours before checkout was insane to me & not even apologize was shocking to me & ruined our experience.

There are a few different hotels around this area, this is the best looking one from the front. I really, really enjoy staying here when I come to SF for work. Chasity, the manager, deserves a raise. That woman is always working to make sure her guests have the best stay possible. Very friendly and welcoming.

Positive: Great hotel, clean, turned out to be in a perfect spot. Was an enjoyable experience. Negative: If I have to pick one thing, the toilet was slow, maybe a valve change because the shower had plenty of flow.

Great place if you are looking for Long Term Extended Stay option. The hotel is clean. Recently updated reception area. The staff does an excellent job of making sure all your needs are met. The rooms are clean. The kitchen area affords the opportunity to cook just as you would at home. I had a great experience during my 'long extended' stay there and I would recommend it even for a night or two. Small store with snacks and essentials as needed.

Clean. Coffee. Comfortable beds. My only ding is for interstate highway noise. Others may appreciate the ability to get back to the highway easily.

Rooms are clean and in good order. The staff is friendly and professional. Location is decent - close in proximity to a Walmart and restaurants. The price is very modest for the quality of stay. 👍

Great hotel with very, very friendly staff. Chasity is very helpful at the front desk and is a genuinely nice person. The rooms are cozy and I look forward to coming back! Will be my go to hotel when in SF
